Be prepared to build coils. Unless you use a carto (which I've tried on my Smokeless Owl - top pic.) I've ordered the 2nd one - VaporFlask Squonk Clone. That one is regulated where the others are unregulated.
Well, never mind then. I'll just stay a tootle puffer. lol!

I tootle with my squonker. Right now it's sporting a 1.5 ohm single coil. Hits quite nicely, but everyone needs to vape the way they like :)

Except for people things were not better 40 years ago. The quality of humans has dropped is the problem.

you got that right brother --- too bad the world was not filled with people from the 50's and 60's but with our current technology -- but of course, they would probably quickly become ruined by the technology just like the current people have.

    Hello fellow Tootle Puffers,

I have a question for everyone (that I know has been asked 1000 times)...

Being a relative newbie I have only 2 devices, both being ego ones which I've had about 2 months. They've been fine but lately I'm getting a wee bit frustrated with them and I'm looking to add to my collection (do 2 units qualify as a "collection"? *ahem*).

The last couple of pkgs of CLR 1.0 ohm have been problematic...lately coils only lasting about 3 days. I don't rebuild and for now I'm not interested.

I've experienced leakage from the the air intake on both units. Not bad but irritating.

Lately, one unit has been fiddly, whereby the draw can become too "airy". It produces vapor but not much flavour. It just doesn't feel right.

I'm also finding the tank too small. As I'm enjoying vaping more, I'm...well...vaping more and refilling more often.

Hmm...what am I trying to say? I'm wondering if I should get a different tank. Not the larger size ego one tank but a completely different make that would fit on my ego one battery. I'm thinking if I got a different tank (larger than 1.8ml) say, a nautilus mini, I wouldn't have to put up with the ego one (crap) coils. I think I've heard the Nautilus mini BVC coils last longer than ego one coils.

Am I going down the wrong road? (Wouldn't be the first time!) I'm on a bit of a budget presently so trying to think if an economical choice.

    Thanks so much in advance!

I would go for the Nautilus Mini!

An important thing to know... any interest in coil building? I'm thinking there are options nowadays that can do both, using replacement coils, but also offer the ability to make your own.

Definitely look into the GS Air M tanks. My coils last an average of 2 weeks. And I think the flavor is much better than the Nautilus. On top of that they only cost about $10.

On the other hand being very introverted I like this way better. but it is probably not better for me.
I am introverted, also...and tend to avoid contact with most people most of the time. Except my family, of course. I have been blessed to find more friends , since being on the internet, than I'd had all my life. No...I haven't met any of them in person. But I don't doubt their friendship. I love being able to shop in anonymity and have things appear on my doorstep, rather than having to rub shoulders with strangers at a store or deal with careless, texting drivers that can threaten my sanity or life on the road. I love being able to find out stuff about anything that piques my interest almost instantaneously; without having to lug out encyclopedias or other reference books.

For those reasons (among others), the internet has been been a blessing.

In terms of encouraging my isolation, it's probably not so healthy.

Pretty much everything was better 20 years ago! And 20 years ago, we thought it was better 20 years before that!
Quite true. People always think it was better in the past.
Me too. I just love being able to look up ANYTHING AT ALL at 3am. No waiting for morning, no waiting for the library to open, hardly any bother to know "where" to look something up -- google can generally find it, *wherever* it is. :D

And though we fuss about having to wait an extra week for things and the general incompetence of the USPS... I DO NOT want to return to "6 to 8 weeks for shipping and handling." Nor do I want to return to having to find a place to cash a check, or having to physically go to the bank to learn one's balance, or if there are unapproved charges to one's account. I also don't want to go back to having to "balance my checkbook." Doing everything with my debit card means I don't need to.

Yes!!! Especially the part about getting any information you want. I did so much frustrated searching when I was younger. The internet is amazing!
I like all that, but I miss talking to people rather than typing at a screen.
The difference is that you can talk/type to people nowadays even if you're agoraphobic, bedridden, or living out in the boondocks. It's a much freer world now.

People are people, always have been - unfortunately. At least, now it's easier to find kindred spirits instead of being stuck with whatever idiots happen to be nearby.
