I got a shiny!

Zmax V3--nice!

Thanks for the tip, Lord Cromwell!
Pretty nice isn't it?
Got mine too. finally got comfortable with the one button menu thingy.

Those things were like $70 when they first came out and are still $40 on FT and most other places.

I haven't tried it yet. I thought I put a charged 18650 in my man purse this morning, but now I can't find it. So now I have to wait until I get home.

But it's really shiny! :D

And yeah, for ten bucks, how could you not buy it?

From what I have picked up the taller bottom cap is for 18650 and the shorter one is for dual 18350 use and maybe 18500? Not absolutely sure about that though.

I put a dual 1.8 coil in my Caterpillar dripper and using the Zmax at 6 volts on it for juice testing right now. Trying to get my final CAP Apple pie recipe worked out.

I did find out that there are Siglei Zmax's and then there are Smok Zmax's and they are almost alike but the Smok ones are lighter weight by about 20 grams.

My estimate would be that that 20g is 20g of good looks, because i really don't like the looks of the Smok version. :D

I paid $36 for mine, in Apr 2014, and still worth every penny, and then some.

Nice that it didn't come with any instructions. When I get home, I'll play with batteries. It does seem odd that there is so little difference in thickness between the two caps.

I've seen some sites show that the v3 can use single 18350s but doesn't specify that on the sale page. Are there different versions of the v3?

Yeah, I use the shorter cap for 18500s, works just fine.

It's telescoping, so you can use any size battery. There are two caps; taller cap for 18650s, shorter cap for the shorter batts.

Some are ZMAX Minis.. Cant remember all the versions though..
The V3 should be Telescopic allowing you to use 18350s up to 18650s..
