My point on the vv3s was that while I think they're advertised to fire down to about 1.3Ω, they will actually fire much lower -- but, since less resistance means more amps drawn, the battery won't last long if you use that low resistance -- but if you were using it as a pass-thru, then it could be workable. Like in a car for example, or while sitting at the computer -- does anyone besides me actually sit in front of a computer anymore, or does everyone else just wander around typing with their thumbs on a tiny little phone?

You are not alone. I don't do the thing on the 'phone like most people. I use either my laptop or a tablet. I could use passthrough on both...and have sometimes. Mostly, however, I use my internet radios (Dash) that I have strategically positioned around the house where I tend to "roost" (den, dining room, bedroom) to plug my USB cords into. Less worry anything might be damaged (no actual computer components in a Dash). I love passthroughs and tend to favor devices that offer that feature. Don't get out much anymore, so battery life isn't as big a deal for me as for those who are out and about all the time.

I won't even use the touchpad!! At all! I use a mouse or the keyboard. Period. My laptop has touchscreen...but I hate that, too.

I'm not wild about the touchscreen to be honest -- everytime I try to remove dust it starts scrolling! -- but it did come in handy when I was ECFing on my laptop at my mom's, and didn't have a mouse -- I could scroll a lot more quickly just by moving my finger down the screen, than with that horrible touchpad. After my fingernails parted company with their respective nailbeds and I was wearing 2 bandaids, I persuaded her to let me borrow the mouse from her computer. She hardly ever goes near her computer, so it was no hardship to her.

At least I've gotten sufficiently acquainted with a touchscreen that when I get a tablet, I should be able to deal with it. It'll be a lot more practical to take-with than having to discombobulate everything my laptop is attached to.

Since my sole reason for getting a tablet will be to have something easily portable, I'll probably get one of those small 7" tablets -- so any typing will be the 1-finger variety. I'm completely OCD about the spacing/arrangement of a keyboard for touch-typing, so I wouldn't even attempt it on something other than my much-mended regular keyboard (recently got it re-labelled -- yay! now I can see the letters again!).

That would have been really nice this morning. I'm extremely under the weather, flu I think (hard to say, in the absence of all the chest crud I got with flu when I smoked), and rather than doing my usual trips to the bank for payday deposits, all I did was get the deposit slips ready and send my husband -- who acted as if I deliberately got sick just to inconvenience him. I assured him that I would far rather NOT be sick, but I'm not sure he believed me. Why is he always so mean to me when I'm sick!

"Volts" means absolutely nothing to me; I use watts. And no, I'm not going to consult Herr Ohm for that formula of his; I hate math and will avoid it whenever and wherever possible. That law/formula would be a GREAT DEAL more useful if the letters used corresponded to ENGLISH words -- I don't speak french, and have no desire to.

You're not the only one, Andria. I have a desktop computer and 2 big 19" screens. I have a heck of a time reading anything on a tiny little screen.

I have every confidence of having vape stuff that would be able to be specified as Tootler material though ! Billet, VMod, squonkers of regulated and mech varieties, cartos, rebuildables of every denomination, mechs, regulated and since I blame you for most of this stuff as I was a happy Ego C user when your shadow was cast over my ECF profile.......

General rule of thumb is anything vaped at less than 15 watts is tootle puffing. 15 watts and up for flavor chasing is mod womping. If your in it just for the clouds then your cloud chasing.

I was tootle puffing a few moments ago at 33W on my velocity. Nice leisurely 6 second draws.

I'm liking these 28/34awg Clapton coils 7 wrap 2.5 mm.

I think of it this way, when I'm sitting on the porch having the occasional vape sipping some tea, I'm tootle puffing. If I'm at a party vaping every few minutes, I'm modwomping. Wattage has nothing to do with it.

In that case Ms Kattykinsywhinsy......Tootle Puffer I actually am. All my DNA's are set to about 14 watts and my S X J's set to 15 joules. Occasionally I do go to 16 and regularly down beneath to get the full range of flavours offered by a liquid. Very rarely I will pop on a dripper and hit it with 80 watts as...well I sell liquid and that is the way most people vape so have to know but personally cannot deal with drippers. To me one of the most irritating inconvenient way of vaping I have found.
