Well...that caps it! Most of the mods I've seen lately don't even go below 3 volts....so no way I'm going to try the "new" 1.2 GS Air coils (with cotton!). 7 watts is really pushing the heat factor with my juice and I don't like it. I wish they'd keep the Tootlers in mind when they make these things. How hard would it be to just let the device go down a volt or two lower? Maybe "most" would never need it. But some of us might.
By that chart, my preferred vape is in the purple... but wicking is key. If your wick works well enough to stay saturated, then the purple is fine -- same is true for those who like hot vapes, in the red zone; they usually have a lot more airflow, so it doesn't feel so hot, and wicking is still key -- the main point is, you have to wick as fast as your coil can vaporize, otherwise you get a dry hit.
But that chart is slanted to the very old tech, cartos and small BCCs. The way that a lot do it now, with the high-wattage boxes, they're usually using something like a subtank or something else with whooshing airflow. (To me, that's not vaping, that's HUFFING!).
