I don't know if the owner of that nearest shop realizes it or not, but one of his employees pretty much nailed the coffin shut for me going in there again; when I said I had to have 85% PG, he nearly has a spaz, he's "never HEARD of anyone using THAT MUCH PG!" Which tells me he's a total idiot, since that's the default for the "PG blend" at MyFreedomSmokes, where I started my vape journey with their Virginia.

One reason I'm an almost-total hermit is because I don't deal with stupidity well at all, and there's just so much of it out there these days; I certainly won't patronize a store who employs people THAT stupid who are also pretty rude about a customer's preference/needs.

They don't even have much of a driptip selection, so in future when I need a driptip ASAP, I'll be driving up the road to madvapes.

A kid at work (well late 20's) who just got off of cigs and is vaping was bragging on some blueberry juice e got at a B&M. I took him a bottle of my Blueberries and Cream. He was wild for it. Said he just thought he had blueberry juice before. It is made with the Flavor Concentrates brand of no artificial ingredients Blueberry Flavoring. Now I may have to go into the juice business as he told all his friends and had them try it....

Heh... someone around here mentioned that they had tried my strawberry & cream recipe, and let one of their friends taste it, who said it was "the best ejuice she ever tasted!" Which certainly was nice to hear, but it makes me glad I'm nowhere near her. I don't mind sharing recipes, but I believe in self-serve: "do it yo damn sef!"

A lot of stuff I read around here reminds me SOOOOOOOO much of when I was trying to "12 step" people -- one of the tenets of 12-step stuff is helping others... but they all want you to do it FOR them. Sorry; I had to do it for myself, and everyone else does too. If you really want it, you'll go get it, not sit there like a bump on a pickle and expect someone to hand it to you.

Certainly has; I think it's because stupid people breed more, knowing the goobermint will step in and help support their spawn. Smart people have the number of kids they can support, and no more. Which is exactly why we have ONE child.

I have a very twisted sense of humor so seeing stupidity in action tickles my funny bone. Was chatting with one youngster about vaping and batteries and asked him how low ohms I could go on a certain battery he was trying to sell me. When he told me he has personally gone down to .1 i had to chuckle. Told him when he blows his face off to please call me for I wanted pictures of it and he was totally clueless of what I was meaning.
I get it, these local vape shops target customers are the 18 to 25 college kids crowd and all they know is "cloudz bro" yet the B&M's are missing out on an even larger crowd of customers like us. We might not be in there every week wanting to buy the latest and greatest RDA on the market but our business is steady, until they disrespect us or are rude to us. Kinda like that young gal who went on a rant with me over DIY juice. I still wont go back to that shop and last I heard, they went out of business.

The vaping industry has been taken over by the Hipster Crowd. It's not about quitting the cigs.
It's about looking cool man!!!

And it really doesn't make any sense to me, why this particular shop would hire people like that; the last time I *did* spend time there tasting juice, at least 3/4s of all their customers look to be over-50 -- my peers! My peeps!

Of course, it's possible that that rude idiot no longer works there; the owner was there that day, and he rolled his eyes at me, when the kid sez he's never heard of... blah blah blah. He shut him up, too. So maybe he was just a new-hire and was shown the door. I can always hope -- the owner is a really nice guy who goes out of his way to help new vapers get a good starter setup and a good understanding of how to use and maintain it. His business shows it, too, because that store has gone from brand-new nearly always empty to 3 deep at the tasting bar, in just over a year's time.

Seems to me back in the day if you said something rude or stupid you got smacked for it.
I remember being disrespectful to a neighbor of ours and he turned around and gave me a whack.
When I went home to tell my father, He joined in the party!
