FWIW, Blister pack goodness can still be found in something as old as a 1.5VOCC coil on a genitank Giant....Tootling.
On a 26650 Mech.

I still have genitanks in rotation.

EPacket is no longer an option for Canadian shipping with fasttech. No idea if or when it will be returned as an option. My last order had to go Singapore airmail, left FT 10 Oct still have not seen it.You have to make sure what you want it in stock or ships next day and always upgrade you shipping to ePacket.
For my new mod:
An original charger is included. Not an adapter. Does it matter what adapter I use?
Asking because I want to be on the safer side. With phones and stuff, I usually just use whatever I got.
So as long as the mah rate is below 1000, I should be fine?I would not go over 1Amp for charging. But thats just me![]()
Yeah, I believe so! It has an 18650 in it so 1A is normal for 18650s..So as long as the mah rate is below 1000, I should be fine?
Use a decent 2 amp adapter. For my new mod:

The charging current into the battery will be controlled by the charging circuit in the mod not the wall adapter.I would not go over 1Amp for charging. But thats just me![]()
True did not even think about that for the CF4.. I plug mine into a USB stripThe charging current into the battery will be controlled by the charging circuit in the mod not the wall adapter.
I could ... but my peculiar tootliness favors undersized equipment![]()
Ummmm........ (nope, better not)![]()
If you choose to better not, I fear the worst (it must have been profoundly improper language usage, was it?)![]()

Not at all, nebulis! It was just me, being silly, wacky, predictably giggly me.
Boy talk about weaving webs!!!![]()
No, I found a online gift card on 120USD! I got it for christmas last year and I thought I'd lost it. I found it underneath the tv bench.
I'll guess this goes for the vaping budget. It expires 1. December. I'd really wish I found it before my purchase yesterday
But hey, reappered money, is like new money, so I'm happy![]()

I think the original question was about charging the battery using the built in Micro USB charger. I could be wrong.Any specific reason why? I use an Efest Luc4 and charge all my batteries on the 2amp setting. Am I doing something I shouldn't?
Now THAT is what I call a GOOD DAY!![]()
I think the original question was about charging the battery using the built in Micro USB charger. I could be wrong.
That was what my replies were based on. 2 amp charge for an 18650 should be ok in an external charger. If they do not get too hot it is fine.
Many new mods use over 1 amp of input current thru their internal charging circuit. If you only use a 1 amp USB adapter for those problems can arise. Cooked adapter or cooked charging circuit in the device. Also be sure that you re using a heavy duty USB cable. One for a cell phone may not be adequate for a mod.
Also if the mod need 1 amp for charging thru the micro USB port and you only use a 1 amp adapter then it will not last and could potentially damage the mod charging circuit when it fails. Not a good idea to run anything at 100% all the time.
The faster you charge a battery the more heat/stress it experiences. I charge my 18650's at 0.25A.Any specific reason why? I use an Efest Luc4 and charge all my batteries on the 2amp setting. Am I doing something I shouldn't?
If they are a good 18650 it should not be a problem according to Mooch our resident battery expert. I believe he said he charges at 4 amps? on a Plumes of Hazard vidcast recently. I personally would keep it at 2 or less thoughYou are correct about the original question. I was just wondering if charging externals at 2 amps was a problem.
