I started smoking at 17 and although my parents knew, I also wasn't allowed to smoke at home until I was 18. My mother was a light smoker but dad, apart from a puff on his brother's cigar on Christmas day, never smoked and didn't much like the fact that my sister and I took it up. He also for some reason hated the fact that we used matches and bought us both a really nice lighter each, bless him :)

Matches actually are a bit more dangerous than lighters... but the main thing is, they smell AWFUL. When our son came home from the Navy with a smoking habit, he used matches -- which I took away from him and gave him one of my lighters, just because of that godawful smell -- and none of us smoked in the house, but still... that smell is terrible. Thankfully he only smoked for a few years before quitting; I think he started becoming acquainted with the morning cough-up and decided it would be better to quit the thing that caused it. :D

Never really checked myself, but is there much difference from 50/50 til 70%pg in ters of vapor production and flavor? Unsure whether I want 50% or 70% pg. I'd like more throat hit, but I don't want to reduce the vapor density a lot.

If you want more throat hit you need more PG. This will also enhance your flavors but reduce vapor
More VG will increase vapor while reducing throat hit and flavor

Every day I check the mail. To see if I've recieved any of my 6 shipped fasttech packages. Every day I get disappointed. But today, there actually was a package in the mail box! But it wasn't for me.

Bummer!!

I use 85PG/15VG...which is pretty high PG in the grand scheme of things and, believe me, I get lots and lots of vapor plus flavor and TH. If you go 70PG 30VG I'm sure you will get more than adequate clouds!

I know that, but I asked for how major the differencies are ;)

But there's a noticeable change in flavor?
As I go lower on the nic, I really need more throat hit.

This exactly! Also, if you're doing DIY... high VG means a lot longer steep time; it's so thick that it doesn't mix well, and takes a lot longer of just sitting and daily shakes, to be fully mixed. I don't know if that applies to bought high-VG juices, but it may.

For more TH when decreasing nic levels, I always recommend the FlavourArt additive called Flash. I've used it since the very beginning, since I've always needed a low level of nicotine; now that I'm reducing it even further, I need even more Flash in the mix.

But yes, 50/50 and 70/30 will be a good deal different in flavor; the higher VG will give more vapor, but less flavor and throat hit, and it will be just slightly sweeter.

Never heard about flash. But going to buy 70% pg then. I know all about the differencies, I just wanted to know your opinion on how much of a difference it was, as it's a long time since last I used something that's not 50/50.

Changed my signature btw :)
