The velocity is only set up for dual coils.

I'll run it with a single. I have all four built, but I don't remember what all the builds are. Two are with Ni200 for my TC squonker and my Cloupor Mini+

I think the 3rd is dual-coil (kanthal) and the 4th is a single coil/parallel 30g ringing in about 1.45 ohms. That one is FUN :)

Can't say whether or not I fall into that category anymore. I enjoy the TC (Ni200) Kayfuns at about 20W and 375F. When I'm not vaping my Kayfuns, I'm rocking my RDA's

TC is a completely different matter; 375F is a pretty good tootle, I would think; when I very briefly tried out a TC mod, that's about where I stayed. The wattage in a TC mod is only to get the coil to the selected temp, but after that, is utterly irrelevant.

Well ok, now that TC's been brought into the discussion, I went and did it... That's right fellow Puffinators, I crossed over to the dark side...

I come to you today with head held in shame as last week I succumbed to Shinyitis. While working on the fire system at a large mall in Niagara Falls, I found myself in a Vape Shop and purchased a DNA200 device. I also purchased 2 - NI200 coils for the Subtank Mini that I could never use and shelved. I had some low NIC (3mg) samples of juice that I obtained at a vape meet so I used them for my first venture into TC.

I can honestly say that I like it! :D And, While using the "Device Monitor" in the eScribe software can say that while I have the device set to 40w @ 420 degrees, the actual applied power is only 13 watts & 2.03 volts. At those values, I believe it still qualifies as "Tootle Puffing" (other than the cloud factor ;)).

Which DNA200 did you get?? And no, just because your running TC doesn't mean your no longer a tootle puffer!! They make TC coils for the Nautilus lol :)

Yes, but I've heard that the VS NI200 coils for the Nautilus were kind of crappy. I'm satisfied running my Kabuki's on my unregulated devices ;).

I got the HCigar VT200 and so far (knock on wood) it's been fantastic! I really like the vape and to date, I've been using it solely with the Subtank. I have the original Subtank Mini (the 22mm one with single sided air flow) and use the 2 hole air setting with a 4mm (hole) drip tip. It is direct to lung but at 420 degrees is a very nice, smooth draw. I did buy some NI200 wire and tried it on a dripper but that's not for me...

My first experience with the Subtank was horrid. I found it hot, harsh, and no matter what coil I used, found it totally unsatisfactory. Now, with the TC setup, I can say that I'm really enjoying the vape ;)

So considering TC does the official Tootle Puffer definition need revision?
I'd like to hear the Kween's thoughts on that. Hey @Katdarling ! What are your thoughts on TC? Does it automatically make you a modwhomper? Or is tootling still possible with TC?

I have an eVic VT andf I've tried the TC feature. Not impressed. Doesn't work well with cooler temps. Gurgles a lot.

I'm a big fan of Teles, that one looks like unfinished, reclaimed wood?

Actually, it's spalted maple from a fallen maple tree. I had a friend (who owns a CNC router) cut the outline and the top routs. I took it from there. It does look unfinished, because it's only finished with natural oils with no pigment. The sides and back have an oil finish with a "vintage tint". If you could feel it, it feels very smooth and silky.

The neck is canary on canary, and I cheated there--I had it made to spec by Warmoth. I don't trust myself working with woods that cost more than or are harder than maple, and canary wood is both.

Her name is Tammy.

Do you play?

Was just using them for an example! The VT200 is a nice device from what I have read! :)

I would say not. For me, TP'in is all about low power, mouth-to-lung vaping. What's important to remember though is that TP'ers don't discriminate, all are welcome :D

Actually, I DO have a few things to say on the subject, but I can not do that now. I have to put some pieces together (after completing a bit of research), and then I will be more than happy to engage in the discussion with you. :)

But before I can even do that....... I have to go vegetable shopping!!!!!!

So, you'll wait for me, please? :D

(Like you have any choice.....)
