I have a serious question for tootle puffers who are blister packers and don't do any rebuilding. I'm wondering how you are preparing for a possible vapocalypse. And this isn't a criticism at all, I'm just wondering if I'm missing anything I should be packing away. I've been planning around rebuildables, but threads wear out, parts break, and if no more parts are available, those might not last as long as I think. So for those of you who have a different strategy, I'd really love to hear it.

I have been stockpiling the coils and cartos I like. Whenever I see them or on special I grab them. I have been investigating different rebuildable cartomizers and today I received my cero tanks. These tanks take both the coils I like and the Kangertech coils that down the track can be rebuilt.

I have a range of gear that take batteries and I learnt how to build mods myself.

So you actually have a plan to rebuild your coils and cartos in the future if you have to. That's part of what I've been wondering. I have a bunch of clearomizers I like that I've always saved my coils and rebuild them. So I do have a stockpile there in addition to my rbas. But I've gotten so paranoid about this FDA deeming that I've actually thought maybe I should also stock a bunch of cartomizers, even though I've never actually used one in all the time I've been vaping. :D

I have quite a few years worth so I am not too concerned. We have lived under this particular cloud for all the years I have been vaping and so this stockpiling is second nature.

I could never afford to bulk up on the only cartos I loved (Ikenvape... sigh). I have 6 of my favs set aside, and build my own coils on the ZAPs. I put all my spare (haha) cash into stockpiling DIY ingredients. And yeah, I wrap a mean 1.9ohm.

This has concerned me since I joined the forum. I have been stockpiling extra goodies that may or may not be useful in the future.

I am planning some big shopping between now and christmas. Will end up spending most of what I have saved.

I have saved all my used coils since I started so I can rebuild them. Buying up anything that might be useful in the future. Getting Taps and dies. Ordering up some RTA and mechs and learning how to use them.

Must have come from Fasttech--am I right? At the very least, you, I and Lord Cromwell are all lung hitting tootle puffers.

Tootle huffers.

Coffee, too?

I hate to see such a good person slowly descending into the pits of heck...

Actually it came from MFS. They have them in a blister pak for $7.95. Got $5 off for sharing on FB and had $2.40 store credit leaving 55 cents plus S&H. I've never had any luck with the silica wick so I wasn't that interested in the tank. My appreciation for my little 650mah eGo-T upgrade made me want to check out the 650mah VV Evod battery. And I needed the included charger for a backup. Then I found a thread about rebuilding the head with a vertical coil and gave it a try. Did up a 2.4 ohm (think it was 10/11 wraps 1/8" drill bit 30g) opened up the airholes to 1/8" and was blown away by the way this little thing vaped. Still couldn't get enough flow through though. After about three weeks on the vertical build I decided to try something else. Stuck in a prewound 1.5 ohm nr-r-nr wicked with KGD and a KGD flavor wick laid on top. (and yes I running it on a mod 1.5 is too low for the Evod battery) This little tank is a BEAST! Airflow problem was my vertical was too small. Airflow and Vapor now is almost a match for my eGrip w/rba. Gonna try this when my 1.8 prewounds get here from FT

I have about 10 of those little 650 mah Evod VV batteries. Love em.
I bought a few of the blister packs too and then got some alone during a battery sale at MFS.

Have some vape mail arriving today. 6 LG H2 batteries. 2 of them to pair for my dual battery mods and 4 for my sqounker and single battery mods. Looking forward to using them from all the good reviews. I normally use VTC5's and the new Samsung 25. I like the 3000mah rating so we'll see if they last longer.

Now I will have to make up some 3mg juice...
And cut down to 4% on the Vanilla custard flavoring....

.

I mix Vanilla custard at %5 in a clear ketchup dispenser. 230ml at a time :)

Just ran out so gotta mix up a new batch today.

Yes the needle should help, perhaps even fix the problem entirely. Wouldn't that be grand! The other option is to grind the entire flat deck so that is slopes back toward the juice wells. I can not determine how much leakage if any gets past the threads.

Well I put that o-ring under the AFC ring primarily so that the thing would stay put when I take the cap off, but I think it does help the leak problem; before I put that o-ring on there, it was a lot worse! But that dome-shaped interior on the cap, great as it is for flavor, just makes the condensed vapor run right back down to the deck, and into the airholes it goes.

I think I may also block off the airhole on the side I'm not using -- I *never ever* dual coil, so that's more air than I really need. The flavor is good enough that I've taught myself to overlook its slightly-too-airy vape, but with that other hole closed off, I think I'd like it better.
