I've been really sick the last couple of days, not able to do much. SO and daughter went on a family visit so they don't get sick as well.

So now there's just me, my vape, supernatural on tv and a bottle of whiskey.

What are you guys up to today? Went to check the mailbox earlier, still no vapemail :/

So you actually have a plan to rebuild your coils and cartos in the future if you have to. That's part of what I've been wondering. I have a bunch of clearomizers I like that I've always saved my coils and rebuild them. So I do have a stockpile there in addition to my rbas. But I've gotten so paranoid about this FDA deeming that I've actually thought maybe I should also stock a bunch of cartomizers, even though I've never actually used one in all the time I've been vaping. :D

I'm 100% into rebuildables these days; don't like clearos at all. But I do have a stockpile of cartos, thanks to a VERY generous PIF about a year ago; still got most of 2 bricks of XL cartos. They're not my preferred vape any longer, but they DO vape, so I'm glad to have 'em; someday I might need 'em! Or, they could be used to help someone just starting to vape, since they're pretty simple to use.

Man... Now I gotta try some of this vanilla custard.

Shopping time :D
Capella Vanilla Custard V1 if you do not mind the AP.
FA custard is good too, best for mixing like making strawberries and cream and such. Not as vanilla or buttery/creamy tasting as the CAP V1 though.

As I recall you mix at low percentages so start with the CAP V1 at 3-4%.

I have a Magma it is a little bed wetter. :) Other than that I like it.
I think what happens is vapor condenses on the top cap run down across the deck and out the air intake. I may dremel it into submission.

I'm thinking about getting a 12ga needle and fixing that wetting problem with mine; if it didn't leave juice on my fingers everytime I touch it, I'd like it a lot better. I determined (by asking him!) that my husband does in fact have a cutting wheel for his Dremel, so it's entirely possible, I just need that 12ga needle.

You folks really need to look into an Origen Dripper, the V3 is Dome shaped and can be reduced down to a single 1.2mm air hole if needed. Amazing flavor from the Origen, it is designed for a vertical coil but can be build horizontal.

Match it up with a Stainless or Black DT and you are good to go!
$1.87 Stainless Steel + Copper 510 Drip Tip - 20.5mm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
$1.56 Stingray X Styled Stainless Steel + POM Hybrid 510 Drip Tip - 21mm / black at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

FT has them on reorder at the moment.
$8.62 Origen Dripper V3 Styled RDA Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer - stainless steel / 22mm dia. at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Kanvape has the black Tobeco version in stock.

I see the airhole on the side, but where's the internal airhole? If it's not directly under the coil, I most likely wouldn't care for it. Also.. it's hard to visualize where/how a coil would go, in that, from looking it sans-coil. Seeing "genesis" in the title of it definitely scares me away from it.

I have a serious question for tootle puffers who are blister packers and don't do any rebuilding. I'm wondering how you are preparing for a possible vapocalypse. And this isn't a criticism at all, I'm just wondering if I'm missing anything I should be packing away. I've been planning around rebuildables, but threads wear out, parts break, and if no more parts are available, those might not last as long as I think. So for those of you who have a different strategy, I'd really love to hear it.
At this point I'm still collecting the coils I like...but hope that within a month or so I can start rebuilding the GS coils (funds are in a bit of a turmoil with our setting up a trust atm). I am also considering buying a RTA (or maybe 2) in the near future...once I get the hang of making coils. But I have a sizeable collection of GS coils right now that can be rebuilt...plus 14 that have been, already. Plus I have some of the Kanger coils which I'm now hearing can be rebuilt (yay! Didn't know that!) , and a crate full of cartomizers and a half dozen boxes of Aspire coils. At my age, it's not like I'm looking at a long lifetime to worry about keeping stocked. But I do want to be prepared since I do hope to hang in there for another 20 years, anyway! As for equipment: I have 2 mechs, and several regulated mods (by several I mean around 10....some are older, but "like new" and were hardly used when I put them away), and a few semi-mechs. I also have around 30 eGo type batteries that still work. Of my newer stuff I currently have 8 of the more updated type VV/VW devices in my stable, and hope to add another couple as finances allow in the time we have left.

I mix Vanilla custard at %5 in a clear ketchup dispenser. 230ml at a time :)

Just ran out so gotta mix up a new batch today.

I use those! Got 'em new at Amazon. I have one with just PG in it...for fine tuning my measurement of PG in my "beaker" (it's not really called a beaker..it's a tall tube thing with graduated measurements on it). I have another one that I transfer my DIY juice from my brown bottles for my immediate daily use. Easier to work with than the bottles for loading my needle bottles.

Kanvape has it labeled wrong, this is not the Genesis version.

It is side air only you can mount the coil vertical in single/dual or even horizontal in single/dual. The horizontal coil can be put over the screw like in the picture shown to have a wick tail on each side. Or you can just put the horizontal over the well and bring the wick down. Vertical is where it shines though.

Vertical build from our very own inswva.

Hmm.. I like the vertical build; tried that in a Veritas and it's not bad; the origen has a much nicer fastener for that center post than having to use an ill-fitting hex doohickey, but... I just can't taste anything, from side airflow atties; there's warmth and vapor, but no particular flavor at all -- that's what I got from the Veritas, and why I've entirely retired it to the "PIF or sell it to someone someday" drawer (probably PIF since it's a clone and didn't cost much). The only atties that I can really taste good flavor from, are those with the airhole directly beneath the coil -- kayfun, magma, Achilles.

Welp, Ms. Orygun, we are in the cartography stage right now. We're mapping out our plans to stock up on coils and vliquid, and with the upcoming BF and Xmas sales, it will be not only tempting, but should be pretty easy.

What, if anything, do you guys like or recommend for a true mech, and are there ANY that don't have the bottom button? Am I just dreaming?

I managed to squeeze in the setup of the cero tank. Nice look. I think I should have got the smaller version as these are quite heavy. :( still they vapes really nicely.

The Cerotanks are a bit on the heavy side, yes. I see you got the mega. I didn't opt for the mega or the mini because it doesn't have the same wonderful air flow of the V2. The V2 loses possible points for capacity, but I love the size and it's SO easy to refill (unlike say, the GS Airs).

They aren't that bad! It's so funny that that's all I vaped for years, liked them very much, never had a prob!

I could never afford to bulk up on the only cartos I loved (Ikenvape... sigh). I have 6 of my favs set aside, and build my own coils on the ZAPs. I put all my spare (haha) cash into stockpiling DIY ingredients. And yeah, I wrap a mean 1.9ohm.

Sighing right along with ya, Karen. IKV =

I'm probably the wrong person to ask. I've also been on "the other side" of vaping for two decades, so I'm quite used to skirting government regs. I'm also kind of handy. Cartos are actually pretty easy to rebuild, rewick, and even improve on. I used to use a carto-like device with a modified flashlight for heat. It was very easy to fix or rebuild.

Coil devices for heating things are used in all sorts of applications.

That is my one big criticism of the Cerotanks. They made them too tall. The airflow ring doesn't need to be that big.

Classic in gunmetal Zenkote? Nice!

"If something happens to Mullah Krekar, we WILL make Norway like Lebanon. There will be missiles and there will be explosions" is the recent message from the extremists. Yet another huge threat.

Tried the milkshake juice today. I think it needs to be steeped for a longer time. Not that great yet.

Vapez
Whoa. Can't "like" that one. Scary stuff.

Some juice just takes longer to "develop flavor". Hope it gets better with time!

Cap V1 is the daddy and I use it in most of my juices, missed everyone but just extremely busy.. Still waiting for my custom HexOhm DNA 200 to be built, my day is never done :)

Thanks Troll, you could have knocked me over with a feather when I saw my name on the winners list.
Congrats !
