Well - It's been awhile since I posted here and actually have something to add to the conversation . . . So - I thought I would stop by to let people know that there are a few things that I have been interested in and evaluating from the perspective of an Old School "Tootle Puffer" Perspective . . .

One of them has been the innokin iSub Apex tank, which I did a kind of review on earlier this month and posted here:

Hopefully, Ya' will take a look and find what I wrote interesting enough to comment on and even provide some feedback, especially since I have gotten a hold of a few other of the New Innokin Products that are - IMO - geared towards "Tootle Puffer's" NEEDS & wants that I am also in the process of evaluating . . . Up soon will be "My" impressions of the Endura T18 (been using this one for the past few days now) . . . Than - The Disrupter/33000 Cell Curve, the New CoolFire IV +, and - NOW WAIT FOR IT . . . the NEW Clapton BVC coils & maybe the Nickel 200 Coil (a little more than leary of these since they are .5 oHm coils) . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

Uncle, I read your review in the Innokin section and thought you did a great job. I'm still leery of the Apex, though, because they sent me an iSub along with the Disrupter I won. Even after getting 2 ohm coils, I still couldn't really MTL vape it, though. Maybe part of the problem was the non-removable drip tip. A smaller one might have made it better for me.

I am really curious, though, where you managed to find the 3300 mAh cells for the Disrupter. I've been looking all over the place for those.

Quitting smoking didn't beef up your self-esteem?? That's probably the very best side effect, for me -- I spent 39 yrs thinking I was enslaved for life, completely unable to free myself, except by suffering that felt like chewing off my own arm ALL 4 LIMBS! or something. Finally getting free of those bullies was better for my self-esteem than even quitting drinking was!

Unfortunately I have a crap load of other issues that I'm slowly working through. I never started vaping to quit smoking to be honest. I just started to hate the smell in my house and car. My plan was to vape at home and in the car and smoke everywhere else. But after three days of vaping I didn't want to smoke anymore, so my quitting was just a very pleasant side effect.

I don't know how exactly I got this relationship anxiety thing. I was alright and having them off and on till I was about 27. Then someone I was crazy about played all kinds of weird tricks on me, and I was done. It kind of went downhill from there.
But the self esteem issue is a different matter.....that's something I've always struggled with. And I figure that I need to start loving myself more first before I can love someone else and receive it back...

So @fourthrok found the love of his (her?) life at 41...well, that's hopefull ;) Muru, by the way, is how I misspell my nickname, which is "Muur". Happens all the time :facepalm Most people close to me are just too lazy to say my name, Muriël, properly....

Yeah, I guess the reason why my self-esteem got such a boost from switching to vaping was because I had tried 4 times previously to quit, and was completely defeated by my smoking habit -- that "bully" they show in the PSA commercials for non-smoking. After all that failure, finally being able to succeed -- though I didn't really start vaping in order to quit smoking -- was a huge self-esteem and self-image boost. I only started vaping because I was sick to death of havng to go outside and freeze my .... off just to smoke a stupid cigarette; then when I saw all the success stories here, I thought, hmm, I'd really like to be a non-smoker if I could... maybe now I can? And was totally shocked to find that I actually COULD!

I'm a "her" for what it's worth! :D And I love the name Muriel ...although I don't hear it much anymore. I'm not sure how to pronounce your version with the little dots over the "e" (don't I sound intelligent now?...not!) but am assuming the empahsis is on that syllable? Anyway....

I love these stories of people who never really intended to quit smoking, who start vaping, then surprise themselves be becoming non-smokers!

That video is full of misinformation and has been dissected in the forums here, it basically boils down to he is an idiot who owns a vape shop in PA and has no idea of what he is talking about.

So, your saying these self-proclaimed "experts" here on ECF have all determined that this guy has no idea to what he is talking about?

You may be right, but on the other hand, I don't think I would bet the family farm on it either.

They are coming not on the shelves just yet. Saw a first look on Martyn Parker.

I'm really annoyed by tapatalk the last couple of days. The notifications (quotes) are at least 5 hours too late. And many times I don't even get a notification. Any one else experiencing this?

Sometimes your Cell Networks data can be behind and, all apps that are synced will be behind. My e-mail does it a lot, as-well as other social/communication apps. I'm not saying for sure that's the problem though. Every once in a while, ill get up 15 e-mails at once that were dated at various times lol

Trying to figure out the best nic for the most bang for the buck for stocking up next year.

Going to buy 4x 2.5L cans pg/vg and 1L 100mg which will last me a while.

It's either mixnmatch or pinkmule to Norway. Pg/vg bought in Norway. The most expensive is the shipping and that's what means the most.

Limitations:
- Max $45 incl shipping
- Max use (whatever that means)
- Only from EU countries

There are quite a few metallurgists here on the ECF. We have not seen any credentials from said individuals but I do not believe they would have any reason to lie or pretend to be something they are not.

You are certainly free to choose whatever wire you wish to use for your coils. I just don't like that video presented as evidence that one should not use Ni200 wire.

I don't believe any wire is 100% safe to vape with or even if vaping itself is 100% safe. One thing I do know is that vaping is a lot less harmful than 2 PAD for 35 years.

Well said. I cannot believe that vaping with any wire or juice is 100% safe just FAR FAR safer than smoking.
And MUCH more fun.

I think I will try some beryllium wire.....

The great thing about vaping is if you don't feel comfortable using something your not limited. There are many different forms involved from devices, Atties, batteries, wires, and juice. It's your choice. I smoked 2 PAD for over 40+ years and after numerous attempts to quit, if vaping over a BBQ was working then that's where you'd find me!

USPS must be messed up by this "Cyber Monday". Got one package a day early, and one that was supposed to be here today got delayed, prolly get it tomorrow. Package I got yesterday was from Vipster Vapes, and im pretty sure its because they work at night and weekends so shipping is fairly quick.. But I need the E-Liquid mail lol

My Vipster Vape package hasn't come yet but I think it's scheduled for tomorrow. Still waiting for ones from 101 Vape, Origin vape. Received my wire from Lightning Vapes and waiting for 4 gallons of PG,VG from Essential Depot. I think that's it?

I haven't used tapatalk in a couple of years. Mostly I'm on my laptop when I come here. Sometimes on the tablet...but then I just go in the front door with my Google browser and it looks and acts like the one here. Like it better than the way tapatalk is set up.

Now that would not be safe at all... :nah:

I think that unobtanium will be the wire of choice down the road, if they can wrangle any away from the audio people...

Magnesium is automatic temp control wire. You know if it gets too hot.
