SO - IMO - It really comes down to what Ya' chose to do to improve and/or maintain "Your" life until it is "Your Time to go . . . "Me" - I want to fend off that day as much as possible, however I know it will eventually be a loosing battle . . .
dead-4.gif

Just Sayin' . . .;)

Now - Just as as FYI: It's not that Diabetics cannot have sugar laden food or complex carbohydrates - it whether or not they really should have these foods if they want to LIVE a Better Life . . . Just Some "Food" For Thought . . . ;)

OH and I should mentioned that I am not a Mr. Goody 2 Shoes, to be perfectly honest, there are times that I do partake of a Cinnamon roll/Donut and even Ice Cream (Sugar Free of Course) - just not everyday . . .

You're quite right, Uncle. It's MODERATION that is the key. :)

I would be a raving, raging, serial (cereal) killer if I couldn't indulge in the things I enjoy on occasion....

Well - I dislike that I have to say this, but almost there ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^

AND - Given "My" recent medical issues that I am facing, "Moderation" is being forced unto "Me" in more ways than just one . . . First, there was the diet for Diabetes (which I basically have under control at the moment), now I have to include another Diet in conflict with that one for "Barrett's Esophagus" to control "My" Attacks" (similar to having a heart attack and extremely painful, usually lasting 3-4 Hours or until I fall asleep from pure exhaustion. The worst part, I find it very difficult to find anything to eat that doesn't cause a problem), and soon there even maybe another change in that Diet . . . I'm going to go see a Cardiologist on Wednesday for an enlarged heart . . . So "LIfe' as it is, goes on . . . ;)

Okay - That's really enough personal disclosure from "Me" and more importantly, having this discussion here - back to the real reason people are reading this thread . . .

@Uncle ....

blowing-you-kisses.png

Speaking of Tootling...., I'm contemplating a new somethingorother, since I didn't indulge in Black Friday sales. I just can't think of anything I even WANT.....

I'm finding that I'm preferring the smaller box mods. iStick 30s and my Cloupor Mini just FIT in my hand (and they're not excessively heavy.) I'm PIFing a few things from my stash to a buddy, so I've made a tetch bit of room in my Vape Cave....

Not feeling spendy enough for a Radius (although, I wish I'd have seen the Provi sale where folks were scoring for pennies on the dollar - maybe a Provi Mini would be a fun addition?)

I have so many tanks right now (I know, good first-world problem to have, huh?) that even when folks are talking about this or that, I just can't get excited about it.

Whaz a gurl to do?

For anyone who likes the Shiseido organic cotton pads... last night I discovered that Nordstrom is the best place to order those -- FREE SHIPPING!!! I think they may also have the KGD ones.

Also, for the ladies -- when you order anything from their "beauty products" inventory (such as those Shiseido pads), they offer you 3 free gifts from that inventory -- face cream and perfume junk, so I skipped it, but I know most ladies like that stuff.

Vamo? Opinions?

Thinking of getting a small, durable mod later on. One that can take a little beating, isn't that big, and affordable. One that I can put in a small pocket and more stealthy. Any recommendations?

Vapez

You'll find very mixed opinions of Vamos; some folks just hate them to death; some of us have had zero problems with Vamos. I've heard that it seems to matter who the manufacturer is, but I don't know if there's any way of knowing.

Mine's well over a year old; haven't used it lately, but it still works just fine. If you get a Chi You kick ring, you can use it in 18500 mode, so it's not so blasted long.

Get a "thread protector" aka adapter or air-flow control. Those 510 threads tend to strip out easily. I agree, they are an economical choice, but they don't hold up as well as you might think.

I have 2 VAMO 2s that I got 2 and a half years ago, and they both work just fine. You do have to watch out for the threads, though. They aren't stainless. So if you get one, be sure to put an adapter on it and just leave it there all the time. It will help a lot.

ETA: Posted the same time as you, 3mg.

I have a V6 (15W) that is currently sitting in a drawer. It can run 18650, 18360 or dual 18350 mode. I just can't get enough life from a single 18350, so I don't use it in that configuration. Also didn't care to rifle through all the menus to make changes (kinda like the Sigelei ZMax). Although, once set, it works just fine....

I find that I prefer box mods now, but I do have a few tube mods (mechs mostly) that can and will be used as the needs arise.

I just want something that can give a good vape (and not an evod or similar!), SS/chrome, is small (one battery), can take a beating (like taking with on hikes, camping etc, sometimes you lose it on a stone.. Don't wanna bring my original mods out there).

Never heard of kick ring or 18500 mode. Mind giving a really short definition? And chi you is a mech, right?

Look for one made by Kangside/KSD, their supposed to be of better quality.

Maybe get a mechanical?

Yes, I know the dangers, and of course I will research tons more before I use them and while using them until I've learn't to deal with them.

There's a lot of cool looking mech mods, and they are usuall small and handy. And this is not for every day use, that I got my box mods for :)

18500 is a battery, its size is in between a 18350 and an 18650. In Mech mods a lot of people use a shorter 18500 battery so they can put a "Kick" on top of the battery to make it a VV/VW mod.

As for in a Vamo, a Chi You kick ring can extend the tube a little bit so you can use that battery in it. :)

What I thought :)

I'm thinking of getting a mech mod instead, chi you looks nice. Vamo was just a wild thought, I just saw a picture of it on fasttech.

Just to add. Think of it like a small extension tube that you can mix and match with the mods normal tubes to use a combination of battery sizes.

Just in case you were not aware the battery name is the actual size

18650 is 18mm diameter 650mm tall
18500 is 18mm diameter 500mm tall

Etc. a kick tube is the 150mm to cover the difference in sizes

Thank you both for explaining :)

As for mechanical mods, what would you recommend? I'm currently reading reviews for chi you.

Vapez

I prefer top or side firing buttons so I use bod mecha (byleo) and Poldiacs. I use kicks in all my mechs.

You are not limited to tube mods. There are some nice mech box mods that you can always kick as well. For bullet proof what about looking at a reo or squonker.
