Can't I also just look at battery percentage/volts on the other mods so i save a little bit of money.

Now understand, I have a Nemesis, and love it. It's that hybrid top cap that will get you hurt. The Nemesis comes with a great adjustable center pin.
If you want a hybrid, there are some great hybrid's to choose from. BUT, none of them use a 510 connector that will allow you to use toppers that have a 510 connector.

I am the last person to say (I have regulated, kicked mechs and mechs) all I would suggest is that you keep in mind the parings of atty/mod to those that were made for each other. Mechs are one style of vaping and sub tanks/regulated are a different. It's not just about what looks good together but what works well and safely together.
I didn't even notice that on his list until you mentioned it. Definitely NOT something to play around with without a lot of knowledge.
I wouldn't buy $2.26 510 Adapter for Nemesis Mod (M20.5x0.5, Copper) at m.FastTech.com. If you have Kayfuns and Orchids, etc, and want a shorter look, $2.25 Connection Parts for Kayfun v3.1 RDA & Nemesis Mod at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping is a safer option. You will have to get one for each topper, however, as it wears out with continued taking off of one and putting on another.
If I was willing to go Hybrid, I'd definitely get one of those black Valkyries. I've loved those since I started vaping, they're so ELEGANT! But I don't want to get into hybrids, and that RDA has no well at all. *sigh* I'll have to live without that gorgeous mod.

Actually, I don't even know what hybrid is. I out that in the list tempoary, and was never going to use it unless I was really sure anyway. I just want to get it, have it. And of course, research a lot more before I'm going to use it. But for buying, that is not a must. I like that one, and it looks good, and it has really good reputation.
So you're saying a subtank mini would be unsafe to use with a mech? Tons of people do that every day, and it's all fine. I've seen tanks as just tanks..That it doesn't really do anything else. Why would it be different using a kayfun instead of subtank mini?

True but that could be said I think with any atty. This is my reason for using a kick or fuse when I use my mech mods. For me, better safe than sorry!
But the kick fits with an 18650 battery right? Wouldn't it be okay to use a subtank mini on top then? And what's the worst that could happen with using a subtank mini on top?
