Strange thing. I will ride any roller coaster made. Rode em all in Bush Gardens and Orlando when I lived there.
But a Ferris Wheel? NFW!

I don't like any of that crap; I got on a Ferris Wheel ONCE... NEVER AGAIN!!!!! I hate the roller coasters that drop you like a rock, but I LOVE the ones that spin you around on banked curves, LOVE those G-forces! I love going fast, love the feeling of centrifugal force like the drunken barrels, but I can't take the dropping, it kills my vertigo.

Aaauuggghh! The HORROR! STOP!

Two wheels is the only way to go. Please find yourself a Motorcycle Safety Foundation course. It usually takes up a weekend, costs about $150 and is so good, it's considered worth 2 years of riding experience. They provide bikes and helmets (so you don't have to drop your shiny new hog). When you finish, you will confidently get on your bike and go...

You never see a bike parked at a psychiatrist's office!

Jay :headbang:

Yes need to get the bike out this year. Nothing like the therapy of the open road. Tootling along or stretched out on the tank wide open.

I always had a terror that they'd stop the thing with me in the top car...then it wouldn't start back up again and it'd be like on the TV show Emergency where the fire department would have to come and climb up and get me, and I'd be all hysterical and end up knocking us both off the frame to a sudden and bloody death......

The ones I hate are the jerky ones. By the time I get off, I want to smack someone.

I liked The Great White at Sea World. You hang in your seats. So, when going in a loop, all you see is your feet and sky, and the ground coming up.

My favorite is the Poltergeist at Six Flags. It's like being shot out of a gun. Acceleration!!!!
Ugh, hate getting stuck on top of the ferris wheel. The worst. As for roller costers, haven't been on one since 8th grade.
To get stuck up at the top and be bored to death. Nope, too late. Already bored to death.

Pretty sure my vertigo would object violently to going upside down on any ride, at any time. If the "shot out of a gun" was level, I would LOVE it... if it's going downhill... no thanks, I'll go ride the teacups with the younguns. :D Or maybe work out some frustrations in the Bumper Cars. ;)

I don't like being dropped either. It's not vertigo. But, it upsets my stomach. It makes me feel like I'm going to throw up.

On both of those rides, there was no sensation of dropping. Just speed. I also like rides that spin me around. The only time I get nauseous from being dizzy is when I'm overly tired. Then, I feel dizzy and nauseous just lying in bed.

I use to spin in circles in the back yard until I fell down. Never felt like I was falling. Just hit the ground and couldn't get up for a while. It was a blast.

Nothing beats the good ole Zipper, Skydiver and Roll O Plane (Salt & Pepper Shaker) for me.

The Zipper!!!

We used to stand near the metal fence surrounding it just to collect all the change which fell out of people's pockets  We'd hope to scrounge up enough for cotton candy.

My sister HATED The Zipper. The guy in the car above her, barfed. 'Nuff said.

Dislike the ferris wheel! - I'd rather stick needles in my eyes. I don't like heights. Inevitably, I'd be on it with a friend who thought it was hilarious to rock the chair while the ride unloaded. Yeeeeah; hilarious :grr:

See, now that is interesting. I'm leery of rollercoasters since I hurt my back riding one but I tend to think of a Ferris Wheel as a tame ride....until I'm up near the top and realize that it's WAY UP THERE....lol

There. I did it. 3 separate orders at FT :D A KF lite plus clone with bell cap (or did I order 2?), an authentic subtank mini with spare coloured glasses (so pretty!) and some loose bits and pieces. Stocking up, I have until May :(
I never had the patience to order from them....lol

It was bad enough when I hit a manic phase after discovering vaping and decided I was going to create custom accessories. I ordered a bunch of oddball things direct from China and it took forever. By the time I got them, my mental rollercoaster (hey, the metaphor fits the discussion!) took a dump and took my creative desire down with it.

Anything I want to use NOW I will pay more to get it locally, or at least in my own country.....lol

Unfortunately, I can't buy KF or STM's in my country anymore. They are illegal :( I'd love to be able to buy locally, if the price is reasonable. But buying those items will become impossible after May in Europe anyway, so might as well learn some patience now ;)

I used to like them just fine. The Zipper was a favorite of mine and I'd always dress to ride it when going to a local carnival or fair. You know, zippered pockets so nothing can fall out. I loved rollercoasters and stuff, too, maybe because my first amusement park experiences were had a Cedar Point in Ohio which is famous for its rollercoasters.

Somewhere along the way, however, I started realizing my own mortality and understood that I'm no longer invincible like I was when I was in my teens. I should have done everything back then when I knew it all and couldn't die....lol (or so we tend to believe when we're dumb kids)

Now, as an older person, I get tense just THINKING about how much whipping and tossing a body can suffer on one of those rides....lol

THIS sort of thing is what we have to look forward to if we can't educate the masses who DON'T vape.

And some people think we're conspiracy theory nuts about the government and the vaping industry. smh
