I'm not "disabled" in any physical sense, my disabilities are more emotional -- I simply can't deal with the vast majority of human beings! Especially when 2 or more are gathered together, I'm always the "odd duck." That's precisely why I glommed on to computers in 1989, got into amateur BBS's, ran one and visited a lot of others, including a really big "chat" BBS here in Atlanta called (of course!) "Atlanta Chatline" -- they even sponsored "bashes," back in the 90s. But after I got onto the internet in '99, I lost a lot of that "social" factor, and it pretty much stayed lost, until I decided I needed to learn more about e-cigs than those lame versions in drugstores, and came here. Thank you, google! :D Now ECF is my "social group," and especially you guys, my fellow tootle peeps, because you don't think I'm weird to use an rda at 9w. :D

If there was ever a chance to this, it would be an amazing life altering experience that I would not have to be asked twice.

If you can watch it in 4K it is definitely worth it, they head into the city around the 6 min mark but the whole video is incredible.

Wow!! Yeah, you wouldn't have to ask me twice either!!! Man... That looks so fun!!! Thanks for sharing that!! :D

I know. There are a great many weirder things about me than how I vape.

But the point I was trying to make was that "vaping" was lumped in with "Bae" and "man buns"....and I found that most offensive!!

I know that this is a bit late but I get your frustration. I always believed that you can offer a credible opposing viewpoint by a calm rational presenting of the idea. You won't change everyone's mind but you can give them the points to ponder and a seed of an idea to water.

Vaping changed that for me. I don't understand how something I consider so life changing, extended my life and allowed me to feel so much healthier faces so much horror in eyes of the regulators and just the general population. I have vaped for four years and each year as vaping becomes a more serious quitting strategy and there are more people vaping you would think that the harm reduction message would get through. It does not and most of the time it's too hard to maintain the energy required to keep arguing and trying to justify something that seemed to make perfect sense to me. My vaping story should be a celebration. 50 a day smoker to overnight vaper. The lack of understanding of what that meant to me is mind blowing.

You see these anti vaping messages everywhere, countries are banning them or thinking of it and I just shake my head. You can see it here it's almost like vapers around the world are bowing to the inevitable and stockpiling in the face of prohibition. I trust that I am wrong but if the USA bans ecigs or regulates them to extinction, the the world will have an example to hold up.

In the dark ages, and to some extent even somewhat into the middle ages, each life had a "price" -- if you took someone's life, you had to pay their family, or if they had none, their king, a price for their life. And yeah, a noble or a churchman had a higher price than a peasant or villein -- women had the lowest price of all, and still lower than that was the price for taking a woman carnally against her will.

Time rolled on, and this idea became archaic, "barbaric," and even, so we told ourselves, extinct, because the human race fancied the idea that you can't put a price on ANY human life.

But now it seems we've come full circle, and even gone backwards, when OUR OWN GOVERNMENTS, the people we ELECTED TO SERVE US, now consider money, the billions and trillions of profit earned by corporations, to be of far more worth than even MILLIONS of human lives.

We're entered a whole new Dark Ages. Millions upon millions of VOTERS' LIVES are now worth less to THOSE THEY VOTED FOR, than the backroom bribes paid to them by those unholy corporations.

I think we all agree with your efforts, but even my 25 year old son has given up on the younger generation.
I think no one has the attention span to listen, or try to find out the whole story nowadays.
They get the headlines and 30 seconds of the media blurbs and think they know what's going on. Just my opinion.

Couldn't agree more M. Dude. Many folks are so preoccupied with their cell phones. I was having a coffee in our 'hood the other day and couldn't help but notice a group of teens sitting at a table nearby. There were maybe 5 or 6...ALL were on their phones. I wondered if they were all texting one another as the art of face-to-face conversation seems to be disappearing.

News broadcasts are increasingly becoming 15 second sound bites because people have the attention span of fleas and zone out at any in-depth reporting.

I find it all rather sad that people (not all) aren't present...in the moment.

I'll climb down from my soapbox now - someone is texting me ;)

Uncle, we've obviously never *met*, but brother, I LOVE ya!!!! Actually love my ECF family. We allow for each others' "quirks", but yet we all have an amazing bond.

O crap!! That would scare the hell out of me! Great to watch other people doing it tho...

I never used to have fear of hights, until a couple of years ago when I found myself on an escalator down to the subway in Rome. All of a sudden I felt I could fall faceforward any moment. i froze on those stairs, couldn't move. Until I remembered my therapy session on anxiety: If you feel scared, then MOVE!. So I went and faced sideways, held on to the supports and stomped my feet on the step. That took the edge out of it, but that ride seemed to last forever! I must've looked really weird....

It's just that people who don't understand vaping just don't "get" it , no matter the age. They buy the crud that the media feeds them and swallow it whole. It's a shame.

It is not just vaping crud most peeps buy and swallow whatever crud is presented. 9/11 comes to mind.
THINKING, there's an APP for that.

Don't forget to turn it up and set it to HiDef!

OK tune but the message I get from it is "crud".
Perhaps this was your point?
