ridiculously priced, then when nobody wanted them as the sub-ohm craze hits
all of a sudden they drop price some 60% - what does that tell ya...

A number of things.

Couple of suggestions;
It is a great time to buy some Provari.
You don't know vaper demographics.

All in good fun I assure you. ;)

It was on sale for $25. And he bought a bunch of them.
yeah missed out on that. I would go $25 for one. Maybe.... the menu system is pretty wonky on some of them.

Don't care how classy or well built it is if I don't like using it I don't want it.

One reason I like the little Kbox Mini. It does all I want it to and more, is comfortable as heck to hold, and .... simple to use. And fits the shirt pocket nicely.
I think my Zmax's satisfy and regulated tube mod cravings I have.
Plus I have 4 tube mechs.

I'm getting more used to the tiny fire btn on the kbox mini; it's a pretty sweet little box. 'Course, I put a huge scratch on the top of mine the other night when my Achilles wouldn't come off it and I had to resort to the pliers. Now I need to find some flat black enamel, like "model car" paint, to touch it up. Got that black magma coming, want the kbox to look nice. :)

I have another White Storm Trooper Kbox mini coming.

I considered the white one, with that great sale VaporBeast was running, but I really don't have anything to go with white, and I could just imagine how filthy anything white would get, with MY hands on it all day. And I was buying it to replace the black iStick30 that went defunct, so I just got the black one.

My husband tells me that model car enamel isn't terribly expensive, so that should work to touch up that scratch.

Does the magma have a similar draw as the Achilies?

Yeah not real expensive . or if you have satin or flat black spray paint. Spray some in a plastic cup and use a qtip to swab some on there. Should work ok on a flat finish. Might not be perfect but much better than a scratch. Or even a sharpie marker would improve things.

I saw the new Kbox Mini Pro which apparently does TC with Ni, Ti, SS, Ni-Chrome, etc.
Looks like they are sticking with the Original model(Mini) an just upgrading the boards!

I have a regular Kbox Mini in my wishlist! :)
I'll probably take the coating off to give it the Platinum look! lol :D

It's a little airier, even using just a single one of the smallest holes, but you can use 2 holes, or a bigger hole -- it goes up to pretty airy, using dual of the largest holes. I find it tolerable though it's a *little* airier than I really prefer, because the flavor is so good -- it's got the domed inner top cap, which seems to do amazing things for flavor. But it's a leaky booger, which is why I ordered the 12ga needles; apparently they'll fit down into the airholes, then cut off with a dremel wheel, so that the airholes aren't flush with the deck, and hopefully that will eliminate the leaking.

The magma is well-designed in all respects... except those stupid airholes, flush with the deck, without even any kind of flare or flashing around them -- so condensate that runs down the domed inside of the top cap goes straight into the airholes, and then leaks. Maybe one day there'll be a magma 2.0 that will fix that problem, but till then, I'll try out the needle-mod, see if that works.
