I really did start with hot flashes when I was in my late 30s -- and every doctior said "oh no, you're much too young for that." Yeah, tell it to my ovaries doc -- I was post-menopausal before I was 48!

Same here. I was in my early 30's and had my LAST ...... at 41. Doctors said the same thing to me. I think smokers go through it earlier.

I always heard that smoking reduces estrogen, so maybe that's true. Especially considering how young I started smoking, not quite 14.

I had just turned 53 last August and had my last at the end of the month. Smoked 33 years.
Anywho, last is the main thing! We rock for sure

A New Orleans accent is one of the weirdest I've ever heard -- a cross between southern, French, and NYC.

I'm fixin' that cajun chicken tonight, with the spicy smoked sausage in it. Looks good; smells great!

lol. Yes it's different. I get it back when visiting there and hearing my cousins. But it doesn't last long when I return.
YUM! I cheated and had McDonald's tonight. Quarter pounder with cheese and French fries.
