With the plethora of new sub-ohm/DTL tanks being introduced...I was beginning to feel like we tootle puffer/MTL vapers were being ignored...

Then...I stumbled across the CUBIS...

The Cubis tank is a state-of-the-art tank, with hidden airflow and a leak proof glass tank.

CUBIS_11-300x131.png
In the four years of reviewing vape gear I’ve never seen a tank like the Cubis. It looks to me as though Joyetech has listened to what all vapers had to say about how they “wish” a tank could be and then made it happen.

Filling – No more trying to fill a tank through various bars or slats of metal in the way. When you remove the top cap of the tank the entire glass tank is wide open. On the side of the tank there is a mark, the word “Max” that indicates the fill line so you don’t overfill it. You just fill the tank to the fill line, return the top cap and coil head assembly and you’re ready to go. Innovative and VERY welcome.

Clapton Coil for Mouth to Lung
Joyetech has developed and produced the very first Clapton coil for mouth to lung users a 1.5 ohms’ coil head that provides the mouth to lung vaper a whole new level of satisfaction.

The biggest problem for mouth to lung vapers was getting enough flavor and vapor from a tight draw coil head. With this new Clapton coil set up that is no longer an issue. I spent more than a day using this coil head on one of my Cubis tanks and I have to tell you, had this been around when I switched to sub-ohm tanks I doubt I would have adopted the Lung Hit method of vaping. If you are a mouth to lung vaper that has never been thrilled by the performance of your tank and coil heads, I urge you to try one of these. I’m betting you won’t find anything on the market that hits better, or provides as much flavor.

Joyetech Cuboid and Cubis - Full Review - Spinfuel eMagazine

I (yesterday) ordered the Cubis and Clapton Coils from FT (one of the few sites to have both the tank and coils in stock):

$17.52 Authentic Joyetech Cubis Tank Clearomizer - 3.5ml / 316 stainless steel + glass / 1ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

$7.43 Authentic Joyetech Cubis Tank Kanthal Clapton Coil Head (5-Pack) 5-pack - 1.5ohm (8-20W) at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Although I didn't order...they also have the other 2 Cubis coils in stock:

$7.43 Authentic Joyetech Cubis Tank 316 Stainless Steel Coil Head (5-Pack) 5-pack - 1ohm (10-25W) at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

$7.43 Authentic Joyetech Cubis Tank 316 Stainless Steel Coil Head (5-Pack) 5-pack - 0.5ohm (15-30W) at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
Hm, I have been searching for another MTL tank lately, thanks for the info/review! :)
Sounds like a very versatile tank as-well.

Edit* Just read about the "Atomizer Cap" for the Cubis, thats a pretty cool feature!

Nice looking tank ... they've come a long way :)

However, I can not go prebuilt coils ... my Vapocalypse vape style will not let me try (in case I like it) ... something that could disappear like the coils or parts.

But this looks really good ... curious how it stacks up against the Kabuki?

I intend too but it was a rough start when she nearly crippled me with a sit on lawn mower and destroyed my garden gates. I now pay a gardener and have cut out the Friday night takeaways to pay for it, a win win on the health front.

Oh stop it, I've been on a diet since Jan 1st, I've lost 21Ib so far, I feel much better but I REALLY miss my stuffed crust pizza's and my Southern fried chicken with fries....and don't get me started on my kebabs on naan bread. Hmmm, "reaches for crispbreads"...only 19 cal and tastes like dust, yummy.
I'm so having a feast on my Birthday next month

I've got a question and I figured that this would be the best place to ask - for reasons. :p

I am seriously considering a blem Gold Zenkote Provari 2.5, which if I read the description correctly comes with the extension for 18650 batteries. My only problem is my batteries are flat top which supposedly won't work in the 2.5. Can anyone recommend some good button top batteries? Pretty please? :D

here's the best I know of (stick with brand names ya know)

think the #1 hottest 18650 going now is the LG HG2 (3000mah/20A)

just find best price, button tops and good luck... :)

have to mention-I’ve seen the VTC5 @ 20A & 30A so I’m not sure which is true…
