So apparently if I spend too much time reading here, I'm gonna wind up spending money on things I don't actually need. Just curious though, for anyone that may want to chime in, and admitting I didn't spend a whole lot of time looking around on their site to compare models. If I were going to buy a Provari, why should I look at anything other than the 2.5?

No convincing from me I am all about the 2.5 minis. Love the dimples (tear drops) and the ease of the menu. The new colours are brilliant and the price is extremely attractive. My only comment is that I love my polished one to death but I do scratch her with my rings and she needs a polish every so often to being her back to her sparking best.

G'Day, Lady XX :)

Yes, I'm being quite tempted by the Provarinati....

I don't NEED them, but I've Eyed them ever since they came out.

My Nautis would be SPLENDID on them.....

Your naughties would look splendid. I have quite a few beauty rings and hippo's to streamline the look when I need to for the bigger tanks.

IMHO, you shouldn't, the 2.5 is a fantastic tootle puffer at a fraction of the price of the other Provaris, doesn't have the awful menu of the Provari 3, or the battery gauge issues of the Radius. Plus the Radius is a bit of a brick, and has power that you might not use, unless you want to sub-ohm.

Exactly

I can't make pretty things (there's not an artistic bone in my body), but I can cook:

Why should you?

I'm with the Stealths and the XX. LOVE my 2.5s.

If any of you aren't familiar with Provape's site, do be sure to click on "Specials".

Sorry for being nosy, but do you order them from the US, and if so, what are the shipping rates like ? The price of the Provaris in Europe is extortionate compared to those on the Provape site - not that I actually need anything at the moment - or maybe I do with the upcoming legislation here ?? :D

The ones I have I bought most of them locally. Some enterprising fellow bought a stack of them in and sold them to local Aussies. We also have vendors that sell them and one had a big clear out when the price dropped on provape's site.

The last one I used a freight forwarder who had a Christmas special. They give me a U.S. Address and even though shipping was expensive it was 1/2 the cost of Provape's shipping options. I have yet to buy direct because of that.

Provape International shipping is by Fedex. That alone is enough reason not to buy one.

Thank you - maybe I ought to "unthink" about getting a 2.5 !

FedEx to Australia is not very reliable. If I have a choice of expensive options I always choose DHL. They land directly in my state and it saves me almost a week. FedEx on the other hand land in Sydney and they hand off to local postal service. No point in spending the extra when it takes longer than USPS

Do you have anyone that you trust in the U.S. Who can help you buy it and then send to you via normal post.
No, unfortunately not - though it's probably for the best, I really shouldn't be spending any more on vaping at the moment

I did read somewhere that one of the international folks had asked provape to offer a cheaper shipping option to international buyers. It does not make sense to charge almost the price of the device again in shipping. I can understand it when they were close to $200 but not at these prices.

I don't think I saw any response though. If I find it again I will link.
