Utah has gone off the rails:

Interesting.

Aside from the wild improbability of this testing being correct for various basic economic reasons mentioned, shouldn’t the sellers of these wildly illegal drugs be immediately arrested? Why weren’t they?

The tests done in Utah were not the appropriate tests to use. The testing lab (BeechTree) didn't have the specific tests required and ended up with "false positives" for narcotic drugs. The testing facility called out the politicians, saying as much.

"After BeechTree expressed concerns that he was citing their unofficial test, Ray acknowledged the 84% claim may not be accurate.

“I think it raises enough concerns, and it’s backed up by the DEA,” Ray told 2News by phone Wednesday evening."

Lab distances itself from lawmakers' claim that 84% of vape juices contain illegal drugs

The powers that be are not interested In the truth or proper research. They are bound and determined to take the industry down. I think our only leg to stand on is our votes. Take away the vape and you lose our vote.

Aren’t enough people to make it matter I suspect. Politicians do research on that kind of thing. Not apparently on e-cigarettes though. Worth a shot of course. There is also the question of the definition of the term “vape” which is being conflated with illegal drug consumption paraphernalia. I never really liked the word myself and am happy to abandon it personally. They’re also trying to do it with “e-cigarette” which I find even more disengenuious.

Trump talk number whatever and something appeared to be a secret invitation to the states to kill vaping, ASAP.

I guess it was motivational. He was like, "Federally I am not going to fight you. GO GET YO MONEY FROM THE CIGARETTES."

This is eerily, creepily effective so far.

Anyone selling opiate laced vapes I WANT THEM. I would make so much money.

He's pretty much retired now as an "actor". You must be relatively young to have not heard of him.
I've never really kept up with any sort of film to be honest. Only watched a handful of movies in my life, just not something I ever enjoyed. BUT:

Ron Jeremy was Vincenzo in Boondock Saints.
I did watch that movie. It was really good IIRC.

The wiki page talks about how he got the name "Hedgehog" and had me laughing quite hard.

The Hedgehog took a shotgun blast to the chest (not innuendo) in the 1993 movie Killing Zoe.
He played the bank concierge. I said "that guy looked like Ron Jeremy, nah couldn't be"
It was about a 5 second role. Killing Zoe (1993) - Full Cast & Crew - IMDb
