I got to tell you i just finished doing a few sets of dual coils on triple wicks and the best ones are at 0.8-1.0 ohms. Since I'm locked to a ProVari the highest volts it lets me go is no more than 3.6-3.9v on most cases. Like if someone can do my same setup and see how far you can push it as dual coil on 3 wicks. Anyone interested let me know if your interested and Ill show you how to make it.

I haven't done it with Penelope, but I've done the low ohm (1.1-1.5) dual coils in Ody with only double wick at high voltage. My batts for 6v aren't the best option and under this kind of load only push maybe 5.5 volts, max. It's a nice strong hit, so I haven't had any desire to take it up any further (like stacking 18350s for 7.4v).

I don't think a Darwin would be your solution. 12.7 watts is the max setting on that, which on 1 ohm would only be about 3.6 volts. Since it's a boost circuit, that's just about the lowest voltage it would put out, anyway, so no matter where you set it you'd be getting 3.6 or so volts. If it could be set higher, then you could push it since the amp limit is 6 amps (I actually saw 5.8 amps on the display once when a genesis atty shorted on me to 0.4 ohms, so it won't cut out with too low ohms, but it will just give you straight battery voltage with no boost at that point)

Yes. A triple wick, dual coil Penelope! Not hard, just takes some time to do it carefully!

Excellent Bruce Im still using the triple coil i made last night. i got it at .8 ohms you beat me by .02 points. I notice that the heat is excellent and very moist with no girgly. Well lets face it I dont really need to close the flow control much. the amount of heat this packs is unbelievable and it will dry the wick fast if no jucie is present to keep it moist. I leave the flow control open a full turn and I vape away for a good 5 second slow pull. Mmmmm no metal tasting just pure HOT HOT moist vape. I love this thing I got to thank Imeo advising me to try .9 ohms. Thats what got me thinking of making a dual coil and when i got it to .8 ohms. WOW it was a burst of heat even on my ProVari at 3.5 volts. I try to push it past 3.5 only able to get it to 3.8v till ProVari goes into PMS mode telling me E1 (built in safety feature). Even at 3.7v this thing hits like a Freight train so if your an amateur beware this vape will kill you lol.

Wow Bruce...half a day from an 18350.

These Ody's and Penny's have increased my intake ever so "slightly". I think I get like 3 hours tops out of an 18350 now were it used to last me all day.

The excellent products have turned taken my vaping from a cigarette placebo to a purely enjoyable experience. Oh well, I'm not complaining...no more cigarettes!

I got to say i got my coils down to a science now at exactly 1 ohms dual coils. It changes after its heated to .8ohms wrapped in triple wicks.

I tell ya my freaking Juice screams when its 3.5v sometimes sometimes if its not to hot i can get it to 3.6v without it pmsing on me with e1 errors.

I'm now using 34g NiCh R wire @ 1.5 inch finished length (measured between twists, and the twists are small. Less then 1/8 inch) +.999 NR wire. It gives me 4 wraps around a tripple wick and is 2.9 - 3.1 ohms. Set the ProVari to 4.8v, or so, and the Ody/Penelope becomes a FOG MACHINE! Long drags (6-8 seconds) are not too hot, and the flavor is amazing. No wicking issues either, even with high VG liquid, and puffing on it like a fiend! The 3ohm coil @ 4.8V has my 18650's lasting much longer then anything below 2.0ohm. These are just CRAZY good now!

I can't get over it! Best vape EVER!

Hey R53 good to hear, Initially i started with 2.0-2.4 ohms dual coils with triple wicks. I tried pushing the highest voltage I could using my provari. It was good I still have some coils at those settings. Now Im just into the .8-.9 ohms dual coils pushing the hell out of it and still getting my nice slow long 5-6 second vape with those settings.

Yea I thought it was only a little larger but it's actually significantly bigger.

You could get a lot more stuff in there for sure.

Oh my gosh man Im an engineer I can do some serious vaping things with that piece of hardware. Jeeze man. Grats man you got yourself the Bentley of atomizers right there.
