What I hate about vaping

First off, I am very happy since I started vaping about a month ago. I don't miss analogs at all, I feel healthier and I have heard so many success stories of 2 pack-a-day smokers who switch to e-cigs and never look back. I believe that it is the best way to quit the dirty habit.

The problem I have is that all available hardware is manufactured in China. I am an American, I love my country, and I buy Made in USA products whenever possible. Through my experience, anything made in China is garbage andI feel that buying Chinese products supports slavery. Yes I am an hypocrite because I love my joytech 510 but at least I buy juice from US vender (HHV). I bet the worst American juice will still be better then the best Chinese juice.

I am shocked that people complain about the quality control of the manufactures. What do you expect? Its made in China by oppressed people making 35cents an hour.

Please feel free to critisize my rant. I don't have anything against Chinese people or global trade, just the governments who alows the exploitation of their people.

i for one agree with the juices... i only buy american with those.

but the hardware... i would LOVE to get a good mod but my wallet wont like taking a $200+ provari (not a slam by any means fanboys!)

if i can get a working mod with VW and everything like a Zmax for $70 then im going to have to go with that.

There are many mods that are made in the USA. While not all the parts originate here, you'd be supporting a American companies and American factory jobs. You seem passionate about the issue, so I'm surprised you're not using on of several mods that are made (or at least assembled) in the USA.

Personally, I try to buy American goods when I can afford them. I don't have a bias against Chinese goods. It's more about trying to support American workers. As it pertains to vaping, I have several great mods that are made in China. I've had positive experience with Joyetech and Innokin, to name a few. Having said that, my favorite mod for the last few months has been the Silver Bullet. Most of it is because it's a great product, but part of it is because it's made in the USA.

There's a good handful of stuff that's made in the USA, but it's all mods and rebuildables. I think the HH357 is made here in the States too.

For myself, I don't care who makes it as long as it works. Now, if someone in the US can build me a better auto than the Echo for a comparable price, then I'll be more than happy to help finance that manufacterer.

I agree with your rant. I too started with an Chinese ego style mod and have since only bought american made mods and juices. I will have no problem spending the extra money on American made cartos and atty's when they're able to make them here. Unlike the 70's, buying American almost always means your getting top of the line quality. Congrats on kicking the analogs.

There are many happy vapers who use the Provape1. much cheaper than a Provari (though not VV). Still get a great device Made in the USA!! I learned my lesson, as I understand, not everyone wants or can afford a Provari. Though If I add the cost of all my "other" PV's, the total far exceeds the price of a Provari...just sayin!!

I'm often critical of the lesser quality of parts, workmanship, and electronics of Chinese products. The majority of my mods and tanks are American made for just those reasons, plus they come with longer warranties, and the manufacturers will continue to service them thereafter. All my juices are American made. But some parts are only available from China, so what are you going to do?

ya i add up the costs of my other mods i could easily afford a provari. but it would be my ONLY mod. if it dies then im just sol.
i have 3 (and an eVic coming the end of the month).
my first is the lavatube (second one actually... broke the first one so i bought it off a friend) which is solely a backup in case of zombie apocalypse.
my main one is a Zmax which i use about 80% of the time for the VW and sturdiness of it. it is my walkin around mod.
then i have a china GG i use for when i need to stealth it with some 18350 batteries and since i am very new to RBAs i use that one because i already killled my eGo with a new coil i made.

so ya i could have gotten a provari for the cost of these but i like the versatility and sense of comfort afforded by multiple mods.

Wow I didn't realize that the best stuff was made in USA (I guess it proves my point). Being new to vaping, all i saw was Chinese products and i guess because I'm not ready to step up to the high end equipment yet, I never saw the American products on the market.

It's good to see that people here support my views

The best stuff is made in Europe and Russia.
Which Chinese ecig companies have slave labor? Care to name them?
From what I've read the jobs in the ecig factories are highly sought after.

It is just something we have to accept. If you want the normal (ego, 510 etc.) items the current best and worse come from China. The modern e-cig was invented there. Until US manufacturers bring something to the table we will have to live with it. With the FDA doing their thing I don't see that happening right now.
