I'm speechless now, but that's only because I'm tired and must go to bed now since I have to be up in ......2 hours to go to a clinic to get on a treadmill and take that dreaded stress test heart whatever it's called thing where they make you run until you drop.......I told the doc that it would most likely be the thing that finally brings me down....permanently....I've done it once before about 5 years ago....and I didn't care much for having to do it again...but my wife set this all up with the docs....and I believe it's because of her concern for my health. That's why she tossed my stuff into the creek. I'll put a bug in your ear later....if I live long enough.

Thanks for all the comments!
Good night!

I hope your test goes well. The best outcome would be that your results have improved since 5 years ago, since you've kicked the analogs. Maybe your wife will relax then...

yeah, reinforce that behavior with positive affirmation.

You've been spending too much time on your vape gear/habbit/rebuilding.

She just NEEDS YOUR ATTENTION / LOVE / HUG.

Let it go. Love her, cherish her, assure her that she comes first before your vape gear.

"Honey, I can get new gear. But I never ever want to lose you. (tears in eyes). You come first before my vape gear. But please don't do that again. It hurts me. "

One stone, two birds. You strengthen your relationship and she'll never ever do that again. Guaranteed.............. hopefully

that is the best revenge...i know my Ex HATED when i treated her indiscretions and mistakes with kindness. it made me look all mature and stuff and gave me the upper hand. truly, kindness is the most evil weapon in one's arsenal!

Makes sense now. She was just helping you study for the stress test. :D

There are two things that would be grounds for divorce when it comes to me. One, if my wife ever did anything with my video games/pc. or if my wife ever thought about messing with my vaping stuff. I know that sounds cruel but I dont spend my hard earned money (and that's the two things that I ever spend money on) just to get thrown away or destroyed. But for real that sucks man :(

Take this with a grain of salt, but if I had to make a guess as to what is really bothering her, I'd point directly at the things you said here, in bold:

...Isn't life grand? I sure think so, and I've been having one hell of a good time here lately....a bit too much fun I believe...so much so that I can't help but let a few chuckles out within earshot of my dear wife, of.....of......of.......hmmm.....let's see....how long has it been......hmmm.....7 1/2 yrs. Except for going back to the analogs....but vape mail coming Monday. I haven't spoken with my wife yet......but I did leave a note....it said, "Please don't throw any more of my things into the creek. Thank you."
LOL!

That's it!!! She doesn't like it that I've been enjoying myself so much here lately! A lot of people just can't stand it when they know someone else is having "too much fun." So they find a way to make you miserable.........but it's not working! LOL! Oh yeah, while I'm here, if anyone who knows me from work is reading this, will you please do me a favor and try to keep this under your hat and not be blabbing it to everyone at work. Thank you.

So my guess is that it's not the vaping itself, it's the time that you are spending online either here or browsing vendors, etc. Throwing away your gear was her way of telling you that she is not happy with the time you spend online and away from her pursuing this interest. And the fact that you are actually having fun while doing it? And you flaunt that by laughing while browsing here, which is just rubbing her nose in the fact that she is most definitely on the outside. Oh boy. But like I said, take it's just a guess and from a random internet stranger, at that.

Also, I'm always confused by couples who live under the same roof, and presumably share the same bed, but can go for days and days without talking to one another. It's great that you can come here to vent and sift through pages and pages of random strangers' opinions on the matter. But IMO, the most important person you should be talking about this with is your wife. And according to you, you haven't spoken to one another in what, 3 days? 4? You know the issue isn't going to go away, and you know the issue isn't going to fix itself. In fact, the more you don't talk to her yet continue to spend time online, the worse the situation gets (for her, anyway...which you know will eventually mean for you, too). But I've always been of the school of thought that it is best to just get it out in the open and confront the problem, even if it means a heated argument - so long as no one's s*%& gets thrown in the creek! I prefer the hot and fast pain of an argument over the death of a thousand cuts that comes with a freeze-out (and the latter doing nothing to even solve the problem).

Ooooops.....sorry...............................WROOOONNNG thread!!

jfango, you sound like a genuinely nice guy. Just a couple bits of simple advice.
It's OK to disagree. Just make sure you remove all knives, glass, axes, hatchets, screwdrivers, sharp objects, and, God forbid, firearms, as far away from the house as possible, as soon as possible.
