This makes me wish that my father had been a vaper. It was hell buying presents for him.

When I was a kid we always bought my dad beer or cigars for Christmas and birthdays. He didn't really appreciate anything else. Then he stopped drinking and smoking.

Define ‘so many’.

For me, collecting is a hobby. I diy my juice and coils so vaping could, theoretically, cost me a couple bucks a week.

But to keep it interesting and fun, I like to try new stuff. I like to hang out in ECF with like minded folks, and seeing all of everyone else’s shiny stuff encourages my shinyitis.

I am hoping these mods function for many years, because I cannot fix them. I will snag a few mechs at some point just in case, and I’ve been practicing on unregulated/protected mods to gain some confidence.

And I still spend far less than smoking, with enough left over in the budget to hire out work that my husband is no longer here to do, stuff to heavy to do it myself.

Or maybe I just like getting toys in the mail.

Just so you know, not that you're interested in going mech, but there are LiFePO4 batteries with extremely flat discharge curves, meaning you could go mech and have a pretty consistent vape: For example, you could vape from aorund 16.25 watts down to 15.75 watts across the first 2000mah of the 2600mah battery. Of course, it's a 26650 battery, so you might have to turn in your 'itty bitty mod' card.

( thread mentioning the battery )

Thanks, but I'd also have to turn in a whole bunch of other stuff purposefully collected over a 5-6 year period. Plus, I'm a fan of mods that use 18650 because I simply don't believe they'll ever go anywhere (too many other uses in society).

Keep my mind also that my initial experiences were mid 2012, when everything was very different. By the time it all got to much better places, I was pretty much dialed in.

There are LiFePo 18650s as well, but the high-drain ones (30A) are only 1100 mAh. Given their low nominal voltage, that works out to only about 1/3 the watt-hours of the best 15-20A 18650s we use.

I'm still mildly intrigued though, especially now that I've started doing some real battery testing, and looking at the discharge curves, it would appear that I'm really only using the top 1/3 of my cells. So there would be two benefits for me: 1) The really flat discharge curve, and 2) The much better safety of a LiFePo compared to a standard Li-ion cell. Trouble is the dang things cost ~$10 each, MOQ is generally 10 cells, and most of the chargers I have don't do LiFePo.

Yeah, I couldn't find any good 18650 lifepo4 that were reasonably priced and didn't have ridiculous shipping -- that's why I went with the Vapcell IFR26650 from 18650batterystore, and a 5 dollar clearance 26650 tube mech for testing. Now I'm starting to gather bits to make some kind of squonker for the cells.

I just want to point out that we ALL have a reason now. And, it's called.....

10 months.

I am glad I have 8 invokes and a plethora of other stuff in the closet that is wonderful and usable.

I actually probably don't NEED more mods I would be smart going after coils with all my might and etc

Sigh.

Speaking of batteries, I took advantage of IMR's sale last week, and was stunned at the amount of "extras" they threw into my package. I usually buy from Orbtronic, but have used IMR too, but nobody's ever dropped this much stuff with battery purchases.

I don't know whether to celebrate it, or read into it that the future is bleak.

AA blowhard? Against meds? You coulda gotten him an original edition of the big book, he might actually say thank you.

I have noticed (in myself) that drinking enabled me to like, do things I might not do sober, but it didn't change my personality THAT much (well, it did, but for other reasons like that freaky messed up Bipolar I psychosis episode.)

But, my brain remains my brain, so like, that's what all the rest of the AA steps are for, to change your fundamental ability to be a decent human being and that is why you have a sponsor.... I have one because she like, has a brain that is not attached to my issues and can go, "Are you high?" Not to mention like, a ton of therapy and whatnot.

Hmm maybe he needed to go to AA there's nothing worse than a drinker becoming a non drinker and then they suck more. Believe me, I know, that is how my father in law is and every time he uses the "N" word I just want to kick him in the face. I mean, I don't. I keep waiting for him to die already but he is a stubborn cuss. See? I'm sure my sponsor would be like, "Pray for him Anna" or whatever, but she isn't here right now so like, I'm just patiently waiting.

My in laws have tons of money stuffed away and longevity is in my husband's gene pool. They have stated they plan to die after they have spent their last penny and I BELIEVE them. I'm not RESENTFUL I mean, I don't care they can have their dough I mean they EARNED it but I am like "did you HAVE to sock so much away?"

I mean my MIL had a freaking lung removed because she got lung cancer (she didn't even smoke it was where she worked) and not only did she LIVE she like lost 200 lbs and is jetting about like she is a teenager.
