You are so right...I just emailed him about an hour ago and I've heard back already and John informed me the last batch of nic they got had a stronger odor than normal. It tested okay and is safe, but it's hard for me to use (but I'm sure I will!). If I get past the smell (which is getting less after leaving the lid off for four days now), there is the sourness. I'll send him my lot number tonight. He will replace my bottle with one from another lab where they've been working on a low-odor formula called Wizard's Ice. Great customer service!

I have a sample bottle of Wizard's Ice and it's awesome. Has a nice TH even mixed down to 12mg. I love his nic, and I know if I ever got something I wasn't happy with, John would make it right.

Now if we can talk him into carrying the super concentrated flavorings, I'd have one-stop-shop.

so how does the Ice compare to the regular? what's the difference?

I believe it's a purity thing. The current formula is 99.8% pure nic, and the Ice is 99.9%. My batch of the original formula has slight color (see post 204 - I have a pic of water & rts/wl/gp nic) and has minimal, but detectable odor @ 36mg. The Ice has zero color/is as clear as the water in the pic. I had asked about mentioning Ice but at that point John was still keeping it quiet - I may just update the photo at this point since the cat has been out of the bag a good while now.

I get a slight tingling in the nose inhaling over the ice, but the odor is so faint I think I'm smellucinating (I'll be watching to see if you actually can smell anything). The original also has some taste on exhale (different than, say, RTS's taste) but I can't detect a taste of the Ice vaping it straight (well, down-mixed to 36mg - I have 60mg). To me, the ice has less TH/is smoother overall than the original, so I'm guessing you may not like that aspect of it, if that's how it comes across to you as well. I don't think it is weak despite the smoothness - 36 is on the high side and I could certainly feel the effects.

I like the Ice because, for me, it has more TH than the regular which doesn't have any at all. I only mix to 12mg. As for coloring of the nic itself, it has a slight tint...and I mean you have to hold the regular and the Ice against a piece of white paper to see it but it's there.

I think your the 2nd person I've seen say that, so I guess it's just how it comes across to me. I also tolerate it better in my nose for some reason (lots of juice overwhelms my nose/burns too much, but not the ice).

I'll have to update my photo (maybe tomorrow) - and include a nice bright white paper behind (there's a paper towel behind the existing one).

I have to admit, it has a TH (for me at least) but it's not the typical "peppery" type th. I can't explain it. It reminds me of eating something that doesn't have a spice, then all of the sudden, at the end, a little spice appears out of nowhere. I still don't think that fully explains what I get out of the Ice, but whatever it is, I like it. It mixes really well with all the different vendor's flavorings I've used so far.

Well...I hesitate to do this (since it'll quickly reveal if I'm an airhead or not) but...

I *think* there are about 30 new flavors on the site? (Anyone else notice these as new?) I usually remember numbers for whatever reason and I believe there were 121 flavors the last time I actually looked at that count. Now there are 151.

I'm not privy to any special info at WL, and I've never received a newsletter [I don't think there is one?], so this is my newsletter for everyone here :) I really like this place for it's "Ice" nic [not yet generally available - we're all still waiting for the ETA] (sorry John but the cat's clearly outta the bag on that one, better stock up!), customer service, and insanely low flavoring prices. Plus, the flavors are all in glass bottles, and triple bubble wrapped for shipping (I still swear he owns stock in some local bubble wrap company).

So, here are the flavors I don't think I saw on my last shopping trip or otherwise I noticed very recently (there are a number I would very likely have added to my cart so I'm sure that a number of these are definitely new and not ones I just didn't notice/care about previously).

I "window shop" much more than I should LOL. So, here is my best guess, from memory:

*LA = LorAnns, TPA = The (Perfumers/) Flavor Apprentice

- Brown Sugar (TPA)
- Butterscotch (TPA)
- Cappucino (TPA)
- Cheesecake NY Style (LA)
- Cinnamon - (TPA) I think one of these is new, not sure if it's the Natural or Spice, Red hots I know was always there
- EggNog (LA)
- Horchatta (LA)
- Huckleberry
- Koolada. Almost positive this is new as I was considering purchasing this last round and didn't get any.
- Irish Cream (TPA)
- Jamaican Rum (TPA)
- Kentucky Bourbon (TPA)
- Lychee (TPA)
- Malted Milk (TPA)
- Melon (LA)
- Chocolate (LA)/Milk Chocolate (TPA)/Bittersweet Chocolate (TPA) - I'm not sure which chocolate(s) [if any] are actually new, but I'm almost positive at least 1 of them is.
- Papaya (TPA)
- Pralines & Cream (LA)
- Pumpkin Spice (TPA). The picture looks familiar, but I think I would have noticed this one - I love pumpkin spice coffee @ Starbucks. I always make getting one a seasonal treat to myself :)
- Quince (TPA) [Hmm...tart apple/pear-like. Hadn't heard of it before]
- RY4 Asian (TPA). I actually first noticed this one I think a couple weeks ago.
- Sassafras (LA). I think I saw this at about the same time.
- "Smooth" (TPA) Never used it. Sounds kinda like MTS Vape Wizard
- "Sour 20%" (TPA) [Malic Acid yum!]
- Strawberry Kiwi (LA)
- Toasted Marshmallow (TPA)
- Tutti-Frutti (TPA)
- Vanilla Bourbon (TPA)
- Yam (TPA)

Also not sure about the two Coconut flavors (maybe one new) and two Maraschino Cherry's (same)?

So - there ya go. Now, who's gonna correct me and say these have all been there since January? :p

I would like to try this Ice myself--I was promised a sample months back when I did not care for the original base. Looking forward to more reviews on that new version.

I don't know when it's gonna hit the site, but keep checking all the time as I'm just about out (and also have a compulsive shopping issue with flavorings). I do have backups, but, well, I guess I'm just spoiled now :p

Just give John a buzz or an email I am sure he will take care of anyone interested. I got some as well and its great stuff. I think some people need to learn a thing or two about nicotine extraction or even ask John. One thing I know about John is that he appreciates honestly about his products and loves to make sure you are informed of what it is your putting into your body.
