i feel a bit disapointed by some comments, and happy with other ones, this is my 1st mtl rta, as everyday pod user

congratulations, you moved to the advanced system like a pro. It takes getting used to, learn from mistakes. You'll should get years of enjoyment from your Ammit, once you get the hang of it.

My problem has to be the wicking... Im used to speedy setup so i took a lot of care to get the wick kosher and don't have the flooding problem.
I don't know if its because the wick was too thick and choking or too thin, but it seems to work with it just right.
Overall i need a system like this: single coil, mtl, tank and Ammit has quality and easy to coil deck.

The reviews and anecdotes are all over the place on The Ammit MTL RTA, but I decided to take a chance and purchase a few.

I am trying to update my daily apparatus, namely my collection of UD Bellus RTAs, which I use in single coil mode (just too many parts to clean). I enjoy the Sirens, when they are wicked correctly and don't dump my liquid, but it's always hit and miss, never consistent. Recently purchased the OBS Engine MTL, but those are a tad too restrictive in the airflow..

The Ammit MTL seems to fall in the middle, and I have high hopes that these will work well for me. Should have them by the end of the week.

currently using vandy vape super fine mtl wire, ni80 fused, amazing flavor, decent battery consumption, haven't gotten any dry hits, loving this tank, does any one here uses this tank with nic salt? did tried to use nicsalt with mine but cant stand it, pretty hard hit for me, i'll replace cotton today and see if could add some pics, im quite happy with new thanks, creed RTA & ammit mtl RTA! waiting to get my new themis as well!

I finally got to build my collection of Ammit MTL Rta's, and I must say that I'm impressed. I've built these all with 26g Kanthal, 3mm diameter and 7 wraps for about 1.7 ohms @ 16.5 watts.

After such uneven reviews, both on Youtube and in print, I'm happy to report that these work well for me. Being a cousin to Digiflavor's Siren 2 RTAs, the Ammit performs as well without the finicky wicking. The build quality and machining is well improved, with only the Gunmetal finish units having any flaws, mainly crunchy threads on the base. Each of the other finish units had smooth, easy gliding threads. The flavor is excellent; fully saturated and flavorful. I've been running these full open for a loose MTL with just enough restriction to actually get a decent throat hit. The draw is smooth, the flavor fantastic, and the clouds enough to satisfy.

I'm happy to see my investment in 11 units paid off, and I look forward to using these daily for the next several years. I've been using the UD Bellus in single coil mode for the past 3 years, but needed to finally upgrade to RTA's with less parts. The Geekvape Ammit MTL RTA is a winner.

Sorry for being so forward, but can I ask why you bought 11 of 'em? ;)

Because I rotate flavors and currently have 15 RTAs in rotation, plus 4 squonkers. Saves time rebuilding every week, and I always have one ready to go. After 6 years vaping, you find your own groove.

well, gotta share a new experience with this babe, installed vandy's coil, new cotton, cleaned the tank on a ultrasonic jewelry cleaner, then did give a try to VCT Saltz, amazing experience, using it on the lowest air dot inlet, 1.30ohm, 12W, perfectly warm, hard and the most important thing, satisfaction, is amazing, the previous problem was easy to find, coil was 0.75ohm, i did tried to use saltz with that coil, punched so hard... now with bigger coil and less wattage this tank is rocking my life!
ill add that using the same salt on this device and pods makes a huge difference on flavor according device, this mtl RTA provides a quite clean flavor, over all pods i have!

im pretty amazed, 11 units? thats a huge stack dude! glad you are having great "puffs" with this RTA too!

And I have been enjoying mine. The flavor is where I want it, and the draw is smooth with just enough restriction and throat hit to satisfy me. It travels well in my pocket while I'm at work without leaking or seeping.

The only quibble I have is just one of design: I wish Geekvape had kept the bayonet top cap design which they used on the Zeus and their sister company Digiflavor used on the Siren 2. Otherwise, a perfect RTA for my needs.

Greetings, I just joined this forum which is my first time joining a forum.

I just bought a rainbow ammit mtl rta 2 weeks ago and berserker 1.5 mini a week ago.
When using ammit, both cotton and the wire gets dirty in a half day usage, so I have to change the cotton and clean the wire daily.

I am using Geekvape MTL KA1 Clapton wire on 0.89 ohm 22W.

Anyone having the same problem?

I am quite new to vaping. I tried Ni80, 26g, 9 wraps, and I hardly get 1ohm.
Wonder what have I done wrong. By the way, I am using Sirius 200W Mod.

well 22W seems a bit high for this mtl, i have found that 14W as sweetspot for flavor using 1.0 ohm or higher, then my 1st ones were 0.85, stood there with 16-18W and got zero issues, the cotton might be colored cuz the salt and maybe parts of sweet liquids... try lowering wattage or use temp control for the best flavor !

well, vandyvape mtl wire and coilology mtl wires will provide another point of view, there are individual or pre-made coils by vandy too, try'em for better flava dude!

Hi, thanks for the reply.
I tried 15W~19W, and it was tastless and so I tried to make it higher, finally I get it at 22W. I tried 15W~19W on salt, it taste better but too much TH for me.
Could it be my mod, I wonder. Thanks for the advice.

Regarding vandyvape mtl wire, should I use ni80 or ka1?

i love ni80, kanthal only for mechs and RDA's seldom, lol

well, i love this ammit mtl rta for salt, i only use frebase liquids for DTL, 03mg max, and salt nic for pods and mtl,

used a bit 06mg frebase nic for a while, no puch, no TH nothing, stood on salt nic,

currently using SS316 mtl wire, tricore claptons, faster ramp up, decent flava, amazing longevity, the problem is the vct and don juan reserve i mostly use, love'em,

about the salt you used, remember strengh or nic level? there are several levels in market!

Regards,
