I may email them tomorrow and see where their nic is from etc... $70 for two liters and no shipping is a steal if it’s good nic.

Coupon expired though, at midnight.

You might want to check out Heartland Vapes and/or Nicotine Giant (formerly RTS Vapes). When they have sales on their nic base...it's usually only about $40/liter or less at Heartland Vapes, and Nicotine Giant will usually price match it. Order 2 liters and it's free S/H from both of them, too. I've bought/used/stashed nic base from both of those places, and IMO, it's very good...not peppery/harsh at all in my 7mg eliquids that I DIY. I also make DIY for my hairdresser, at her preferred 13mg, and she says the same thing..not harsh or peppery to her either, even at the 13mg.

After I move, it's nic and more flavors and bigger sizes of what I like. Apparently per my lab work, I am going to live longer than I expected. I also do not want to run out of some of my most used flavors.

I'm pretty good other than that, although to be QUITE frank, as I find new things to love, that's how I'm stocking my vape closet. Because once you hit, oh, 16 active setups, it gets time consuming at times. So, that is how it is working for me and it will continue until I am no longer willing to pay what equipment is gong to cost.

Anna

PS I am fine with Heartland Vapes budget nic I broke out my first liter to try it. It's perfectly acceptable to me, etc.

I'm getting ready to order more nic. But after checking when seeing this, I'm genuinely wondering why e-cig express? They don't disclose a brand name, purity level, or even country of origin. In fact, there's nothing on their site about the product at all. And for 100mg, a company like nic river has labeled Chemnovatic 250ml from Poland, 99.9% pure, EU approved, Kosher, USP, for $15.99 vs. $28.99 at ecig (vg version). And Nude Nic offers essentially the same thing at $20, and displays their certificate.

Aren't there better options for product with more transparency and a better price than ecig, even with a discount?

When I first bought nic, nobody said where their nic was from or had certificates. And it’s been good nic for me. Plus the free shipping, which other sellers at the time either didn’t offer, or their ship times were unreliable.

So I got into the habit of shopping there, and they had most of the other stuff I needed as well. My husband wasn’t keen on my credit card being used all over the place, so the one stop nature was a plus.

I’ve since bought nic from several other suppliers mentioned on ECF with no issue as well.

For 3 years I vaped exclusively on an original Pico with an SV rda clone and that's what's in the stockpile. Hanging out here has corrupted me. I got a berserker mini, had to have a few of that one. Tried the Cthulu 1928. It will be perfect on a squonker so a few of those. But I don't have any squonk mods. I managed to score a couple Pico squeeze (the original) before they disappeared.

There's one more bit of hardware I'd like to have in case the government interferes with access to product, a compact, unregulated tube mod (18650) with a mosfet chip to protect against shorts, reverse battery, etc. Can anyone recommend one?

Thanks for the quick response. I'm aware of that one and it's the one I'll get, along with some spare chips unless there are others to choose from. That one has a design flaw that can be worked around but it's easy to spoil the electronics board unless you avoid an unobvious problem. But that will probably be the one. But, are there any others?

I wonder how much vape related consumer spending is going to pod systems that might have been spent on the previous generation of hardware. Even I have a couple of pod systems now for backup and stealth. I'm not stockpiling them unless one comes along that's rebuildable and has a replacable battery which isn't going to happen.

Thanks again

stuck in a squishy pod called my brain
$350 so far in 2019
+ $11 6-120ml bottles
+$6 small screwdriver set
+$40 misc FT order for husband (I can't believe he is still sticking with vaping)
-------------------------------------
$407 so far
+ $54 NicRiver
_------_---------------------
$461 -(good karma credit for PIF 50% of flavor stash to random vaper I met)

Will likely PIF more flavors soon, just haven't tested all of them yet. Meanwhile the $54 spent is for making a years worth+ of my fav recipe (+1 standby flavor) as a 1shot of 500mls (500 mls of flavors only) then take 10% when I make my normal 500ml batches

What’s the design flaw you mentioned?

I've got some mechs in the box, I picked up some Short Stop reusable fuses for them. I saw a post recently saying you can still buy them. If you go that way you could get any mech you wanted.

I've heard they work. But the only time they could have tripped for me the hot spring collapsed so I don't know if the fuse did its thing or not.

I have to admit my wife has been very understanding about me stocking up on mods, nic, and juice. I have a monthly spend which I keep under 50% of what my cigs used to cost. That helps.
I DIY and just placed my first half dozen 8 oz bottles of juice in the freezer. She says I look like the mad scientist over there at my table mixing. Scale, beekers, syringes, etc.
I pointed out to her this morning some politicians talking about breaking up Amazon. She may have to stock up on books for her kindle. In fact, they may soon decide the kindle itself is a danger, especially to the children. Lord knows what they could be downloading.
What great Americans we would be if at the same time they come for my vape they can pick up her kindle as well. Save taxpayer money.
She said in normal times that would be funny.
Oh well.

I’ve got a little over 3 liters on hand and after nine years of vaping I’ve got enough hardware to outfit a small army. I keep thinking maybe I should get another liter or two.
I have 6 litres of 100 for the future, and 6 litres of ready base in the freezer. That should be more than enough to hold me till I’m ready for the nursing home. I guess by then, I’ll be thankful for my mechs since there’s no boards/chips to crap out. It’ll be interesting to see how well regulated mods hold up long term.

I’ve got a collection of 30 regulated mods figure a mod a year plus or minus a half year should keep me for awhile. Plus I unfortunately have a horrible case of shiyitis and I keep adding on. I’m starting to look and buy semi regulated mods now lol!

Being well stocked up seems to have little effect when it comes to shinyitis. We just have more convincing rationalizations!:D

The board made for the mod was designed in a way that makes it too easy to damage beyond repair. The problem is hard to describe but easy to show, as in this video made for the purpose by a youtube reviewer. I've decided to own one or two tube mods as last ditch backups to my regulated mods, but only if they have a protection board and I can get spare boards, which is provided for the Cthulu tube mod, probably because of the design flaw.
