I know the flavorings themselves may not hold up as well, but perhaps I've been very lucky with my blends, or the PG and VG actually help them

Now you done got me started. This is my specialty, as you may see from my sig. :pop:

I don't freeze or refrigerate the flavor concentrates, but I do transfer them into amber glass Boston Round bottles with phenolic polycone caps for long-term storage - at least for 16oz, 4oz, 1oz, 15ml sizes.

I have some ry4 from a 16oz from 2012, and if anything it has gotten stronger.

Admittedly though, seeing as my flavor library suddenly got VERY large (750+) last year, I'm going down in the sizes just to keep a tighter ship. But my oldest fruit-flavor (lighter molecules) I think is 4oz TFA Peach from 2013 that has been opened many times, and I don't seem to notice it being any weaker. Of course there could likely be some threshold-of-noticeable-differences going on. But I say if you don't notice it, it doesn't exist. :D Regardless, I'm still going down in sizes just in case there's some losses -- but really, it's more for space reasons than anything else. :)

Below is a photo of one of my nic storage bottles. It is a one liter amber glass in a zip lock bag surrounded by bubble wrap enclosed in a second zip lock bag. I'm the engraver in my shop and made the tags for each bottle. In the forseeable future I'm going to make one more nic purchase, try a squonk setup and may be get a few of the Pico X if Arctic fox decides to make firmware for it.

TY, haven’t seen that thread yet :(. I guess it’s official, the politicians have all gone stark raving mad(er). Sad state of affairs.

Let's imagine if the same so-called "concern" and focus was placed on stopping/preventing underage drinking, instead of vaping. I seriously doubt the steps taken would involve limiting adult access to alcoholic beverages, restricting the choices of flavors that could be used in those beverages, mandating that manufacturers change their advertisements and product labeling, and voting in favor of extremely high taxes on the beverages themselves and anything even remotely related to them (ie. steins, mugs, coolers, bottle openers, cork screws, cup and can holders, etc.). There'd be a HUGE uproar among the US adult population and most likely a massive ousting of any/all politicians (local, state, etc.) who voted in favor of any of it.

IMO, there's nothing fair or just at all...about what's already happening in some cities and states, and is likely to happen yet, concerning even adult vaping. :(

To try and put a positive spin on it.. That's why I think ALL should subscribe to that thread, and be on the lookout for something in your area that you might just possibly be able to do something about.

And make sure you put a 'like' on every post to make sure @kristin knows that her phenomenal efforts in putting all this together (or at least for disseminating it :)) are being well received by at least some of us out here.

It does get infuriating, to be sure. But unless we try to take action in our own little corners whenever possible, then all we're doing is preaching to the choir (or just flat-out venting :D). :pop:

Thank you so much for your support and nice comments, Hoggy!

And yes, I'm responsible for scanning all of the news reports and writing all of those tweets/Facebook posts that I share in the thread, lol! ;) (But Alex Clark gets credit for researching and putting together all of the official Calls to Action, though!)

Thank you to you and Alex for keeping us informed!!! We do appreciate everything done for the vaping community, and especially for those that deserve the chance to quit stinkies with vaping in the future

between here and there
Statement from FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb, M.D., on new data demonstrating rising youth use of tobacco products and the agency’s ongoing actions to confront the epidemic of youth e-cigarette use
Sounds grim, so to cheer myself up, ordered a few more litres of nic. I don’t buy commercial juices, but it burns my goat to think I couldn’t if things go wrong with this insanity.
Then there’s this in Maine...
SP0173, LD 551, item 1, An Act To Ban Nicotine Liquid Containers
I am speechless. There is so much wrong with that article I do not know where to begin. I just kept wondering why he is only going after ecigs? There are many many more products on the market that contain nicotine and flavors for that matter. Sure some of the ejuice companies are really 'out there' with the names and designs of their labeling that target kids, but make them change their labeling instead of punishing the cigarette smokers who really need the ecig alternative in order to quit since all of their other methods just plain don't work. I wish the big lie would be exposed......that nicotine, in and of itself, is no more addicting than the beloved caffeine. Oh wait, then they would have to explore what really is in cigarettes that all are addicted to.. and the many layered facets that make up the whole smoking addiction problem...but that will never happen. sigh

Yes! Ecig Express has another sale on nic. It expires tonight, so I went straight there to order. Done!

I am now finished stocking up!
Me too. 30% is a lovely sale! Might as well over-stock while we still can.

I'm getting ready to order more nic. But after checking when seeing this, I'm genuinely wondering why e-cig express? They don't disclose a brand name, purity level, or even country of origin. In fact, there's nothing on their site about the product at all. And for 100mg, a company like nic river has labeled Chemnovatic 250ml from Poland, 99.9% pure, EU approved, Kosher, USP, for $15.99 vs. $28.99 at ecig (vg version). And Nude Nic offers essentially the same thing at $20, and displays their certificate.

Aren't there better options for product with more transparency and a better price than ecig, even with a discount?
