Some of the closed systems that are hitting the market right now aren't half bad (some are even pretty darned good) and not even close to what was initially available when the FDA started making noises.

I'll also add that if there had been a decent closed system when I started vaping, I'd most likely still be using it. Sure, the open systems are nice, but I'm getting to the point to where I'm tired of rebuilding, tired of making my own e-liquid, and tired of cleaning up leaks and drips. Not to mention the hassles of ordering the stuff now.
I, like countless others, want simple and easy. Some of the newer pod type systems are providing exactly that.
This is a choice and for now you still have that choice, it is what we supposedly are fight for, having a choice of vaping gear and styles.
Accepting closed only systems as "our choice" is giving up and those who roll over will be in for a unpleasant surprise if they think the FDA is going to rub their bellies.
