Even longtime buyers from China can get turned off by this.
That's true.
For me, all I ever buy is accessories and clones attys in the past couple years and FT is king of accessories and clone attys. Only exception is a few 21700 mechs I bough earlier this year. I got all the mods, kits & coils I need on sale or clearance stateside. I also know how to deal with FT to get things moving and get the customer service I need. People don;t like hte game that might have to be played, but from what I have been reading lately in the USA, it's also a crapshow and you have to pay taxes, sign for delivery, and wait the same amount of time anyhow. lol
Another thing people get turned off about is the whole secret paypal payment everyone is doing. People find that shady, but as I told a couple people lately, in the USA we are dealing in black market now, believe it or not. Basically, any "tobacco product" not approved to be marketed in the USA is an illegal product for sale to US buyers. That's not a grey market like some people think, that's a black market.
I sold a clearomizer and some coils on Reddit 3 weeks ago and the dude sent paypal payment with note "/u/[USERNAME] 1x [NAME OF PRODUCT]". Now I told him not to put anything in the notes area, so I immediately refunded his payment. He contacted me all pist and I responded berating him for not understanding the situation we are in, him being a long-time vaper. There's no excuse for it IMHO. I have a decent amount of swap rating and a 10 year old account. If you can't trust a person like that enough so much that you'd jeopardize both your and their PP account, then you need to buy from a vendor. This is black market trading. I'm not pist about losing the sale. I was selling at a loss anyhow and $15 in my pocket isn't going to make me rich lol. I just get irritated when someone who has vaped for so long doesn't understand these things. Sorry for the rant, but I've been livid about this and other vapers not "getting it" for the past month or so.
