Back to topic: question: can I fit the 701-510 adapter on the a2-MT unit to drip or do I need the a2-T?

I think it will only work for the classic A2 because I think it has threads and don't think any of the tank caps have them but I am still waiting for mine so I can use my 710 adapter.

What Fuginazole said, the 701-510 was only for the regular A2. But now that you mention it I do believe that there are ego T Tank drip tips out there. I just hadn't thought about getting one myself, and there is also that little problem with the wick holder part of the A2-T. I do wonder if the A2-T tank holder part would screw directly on to the coil section since I haven't tried to do that yet?

Hot diggity, Emonty's a freaking genius!!!!!! YOU CAN SCREW THE A2-T TANK BIT ONTO THE COIL BIT!!!! So you can use the ego T tank drip tips and better still you lose about 1/3rd the length of the original A2 tube for better, closer, dripping.

If that's so then I'm still getting one. When I read that perhaps the adapters for DT's wouldn't be avail anymore I decided I didn't want one then. I need to be able to use dt's and not those cheap looking plastic tips.

What did I do....? :)

Emonty you asked if the 701-510 drip tip adapter would work on the A2-T configuration, which got me to thinking and having one of my, duh, now why didn't I figure that out sooner moments. End result, there are ego T Drip Tips, the A2-T bit does screw onto the coil section without the wick holder section, hence, a shorter drippable A2-T Bulli-Smoker with easily available drip tips.

Dspin, just go and get you one o' these here ccontraptions but don't forget to get a couple ego T drip tips so you can drip yours in the A2-T configuration.

Ainako, you'll have to fiddle a bit with your wicks to figure out what works best for you. I'm vaping about 65PG/35VG and the wick I'm using is the SS mesh wrapped around two strands of wick but I leave about 1/2" of wick exposed so it splays out in the tank to help wick up the juice a little better. Still there are times when I'm chain vaping that it won't wick fast enough, so you might want to try one wick in the SS mesh for the 40%VG. Also a straight up SS mesh wick might be best for the 80%VG. But you really do have to figure out what will work best for you and your vaping style.

Aceyboogie, I'm looking around for some of them tips right now. So far the best prices are of course to be found in China. It also seems that our US dealers have either one or the other but not both, or all three. In the US so far it looks like $2.49 - $2.99 is the going price but on the Chinese sites you can find them for as little as $1.09. Right now I'm just looking for a site that has the egoT type A and Mega drip tips that also has something else I may be in need of so I won't feel bad about paying $6 shipping on $6 worth of drip tips.
