So...how many tanks are you fine folks able to run before rewicking this beast?

I'm guessing I vape about 30ml/day. I throw a new build in my two every Sunday. If they look pretty clean when I take them apart I just burn off the crud and rewick, but I usually just throw a new build in as long as I'm in there. I usually use 2mm 26ga 6-7 wraps for 0.26-0.32

Wow! That great! For some reason, I get decreased wicking around my 4th tank and have to rewick. I'm using 26 awg 2.5mm 8 wrap contact coil with ... cotton

I feel you on that. I've been considering grabbing a billow v2 for my "easy" RTA. Which RTA are you liking?[/QUOTE]

I was considering the Billow 2, but I'm hearing good early impressions of the Goliath 2. But I don't know. Even though I've had some complaints, I really do love my Cthulhu and I don't feel the need to replace it. I'm going to upgrade my Subtank Mini to dual air flow and RBA Plus and maybe get a new RDA. With all those, I should be good for a while. I do want to see what's in store with Cthulhu 2.

I'd be all over the goliath v2, but they didn't include top fill, again. You would think with a v2 they would have added that by now, I mean the main feature of the tank is the juice control. Juice control without top fill is just silly IMO. They could have even done a janky grommet method like their Zephyrus and it would have been better than skipping it all together. Such a let down.

Juice control for the Cthulhu v2 would be a welcome addition though.

Exactly. Just as juice control without top fill is pretty much useless, top fill without juice control is a flooded mess just waiting to happen lol.

@Cacique Thats how I compare my rda's to rtas. LOL Big air High wattage dripping. No tanks really compare.

I hope we get there at some point, but I think it might need a big redesign. An RTA with the current design made for huge airflow like a cloud chasing RDA might turn out to leak like a broken dam. IMO though, I think I can get clouds out of the Cthulhu similar to what I got out of my MXv2 and SMPL. But now that I have the Sigelei 150 and build for 100w+ on my RDAs, I wish I could find a tank that worked like that. I'm keeping my eye out on some of these new tanks coming out that use multiple coils, but I'm hoping one comes with a rebuildable base that'll handle some big coils.

Yea its an airflow limitation. it definitely compares to an rda on a single tube mech. but not to a big dual coil on a high watt regulated.

Still working out my 510 pin leak.... When I rebuilt it last night, I took everything apart prior to draining and running water through everything.... I figured I was getting liquid running down the center post from contact with the wicks so when I wicked the new coils, I made sure nothing was making contact with the center post and the wicks only touch the deck where they go into the channels.
Fill it up after putting everything back together, clean up the air channel leak because I top filled, take a few hits, take it off the mod to adjust the AFC and the 510 pin is leaky again.
During my clean and rebuild last night, I made sure the little well around the center post was clean and dry.
With a clean tank and build, the leak is the same color as the liquid in the tank, but as everything ages, the leak is darker.
Which leads me to believe I'm cooking/burning some fraction of liquid instead of vaporizing it fully and/or its building up inside the chamber, condensing, and then somehow collecting in that tiny well around the center post and leaking down through the insulator around the 510 pin.

I wonder if the insulator has a hairline crack that you cant really see very well.

Contacted CthulhuMod to see if they sold the insulators in case mine did have any cracks, they offered to send a new deck at the cost of shipping....
Getting a new deck....

Not a bad outcome. I got a new deck as well and the matching was 1000% better.
