Hahaha! :)

The company which makes the Vmod isn't a small fly-by-night business. Their KR808D-1 line of products is sold in over 4000 retail establishments in the US. This is their move into the intermediate market of vapers. You know...quality products at reasonable prices. I've spoken with the owner & I can say with reasonable certainty that the Vmod isn't going away. In fact, you will be seeing it a lot more, since it's price point & functionality are so attractive.

You're right, this thread isn't just about the Vmod, but I believe everyone should know the facts about the product, & I'm willing to answer any questions I can, or find the answer, if I must.

I've seen people post this concern before about model specific parts, i.e. the Go-Go, & I'm having a difficult time seeing what the issue is. You can buy 10 cartos from the company as easily as you can buy 10 cartos from anywhere. It has a 510 connection, so in a pinch, it could always power any 510 carto/atty.

I haven't seen any carto mods yet, but since my original cartos are still working fine, I haven't had a need to experiment. Since the cartos are so inexpensive & lasting, I doubt if I will bother.

I'm not a salesman for Vapage, but this is a solid mod for less than half the price of other mini feeders. It's all mechanical, has a metal shell, & works like it's supposed to work.

Proprietary parts is a business gimick to bend people over so you can charge outrageous prices for disposable components. Forces people to go one place, and one place only for parts. Having options and some market competition is what is bringing the prices down. Remember the $85 510 140 mah kits? Egos for $100+? Its the price gouging proprietary units that make people give up on e-cigs. Only competition and people shopping around brought prices down.

At least the did use a 510 native, otherwise they would be forced into selling in malls or truckstops only and pray their customer base never learns to google.

In this case, I believe it was necessary to produce a better feeding mod. The cartos have a venturi for airflow and separate slots for juice intake. It provides a very easy draw and little or no gurgle. I'm sure you will start seeing this device offered at many of the on-line stores, as well as tobacco shops, truck stops, and convenience stores.

At $3 per carto, I don't think they are "bending anyone over."

can you tell if it uses the madvapes board VV regulator?

Yes, it does.

Great thread, AG. There's something for everyone, eh?

Thanks Kat!

I think there is something for everyone!

It's amazing how this thread started with just a few options being available for feeder models.
Now, there are options from $30 to $300....wood, plastic, aluminum...3.7v to Variable Voltage.
The bottom and top feeder mods are on the rise!
I don't see its popularity slowing down any time soon! :)

Ravens Country!!!
Very good point!

And why should it???

Being able to "just vape" is not a crime lol.

So many of us were brought up in vaping with the mindset of having to fiddle and tweak everything just to get a good vape.

Most feeder devices defy that concept completely and allow you to simply vape.

I just hope that progress on how we vape continues to improve.

I would love to see the whole concept of e-liquid change to the point that e-liquid is so concentrated .1 ml would equal 30 ml. Maybe it doesn't even have to be e-liquid at all but small powder pellets that you insert into a device that mixes with water that allows you to vape for days!!!

LOL ok, I know my imagination ran a little wild there but the point is that we continue to progress and improve till vaping becomes as effortless as lighting up a cigarette :)

The Vmod tastes great!
There is no poly fill taste.
There is only a small amount of poly, because the carto is pressure fed.

It is designed for the direct inhaler (vs mouth inhaler).
I can take a nice long lung pull off of it, & blow out clouds.

The cartos are stamped with the ohm rating.

They have separate air flow and juice flow holes.

There is an interchangeable venturi for the air flow.

Gees AG -- did you buy stock in the company?

I don't mind at all -- I finally broke down and ordered one. Been looking for any data I could on it. I love the size. I like the pocket friendly aspect a lot......might just work in my back jeans pocket (I hope).

Here's an idea -- to keep from Frankenthreading (hijacking your own thread) you could do a review thread.

I wish I had stock in this company!

Honestly, there have been more questions about this mod than anything else posted here. It's a new mod, uses a special carto, and it's not expensive. If the community had this many questions about the Ali'i, Reo, Phidias, Monkeyboxx, Grip, etc, I'd feel compelled to answer the questions as well. In this case, I'm one of the few people on ECF to have one. I hope I've alleviated everyone's fears and that some of the vapers here will give it a try.

I would tell you if it was crap, and it isn't!!!
