My best wishes go out to you guys.

Meh,the way it's all going i see only 2 outcomes:

-Overtaxation of nicotine,price will be the same as a pack of smokes so we won't be saving any money like we are accustomed to but we will still remain healthy

or

-All vape products will be prohibited,deemed illegal and we will have to go into full Macgyver to construct our own vaping apparatus.
On top of that as e-liquid we will have to use combination of a Bison milk and sea urchin enzymes.

I hope it's the overtaxation but then again you can never take for granted the current level of stupidity that our governments seem to share.

Well....we're screwed.:-x Last night, the Senate passed S.1253, which will add vapor products to the PACT act. The bill was "hotlined", which means that there was no debate and it was passed by Unanimous Consent without a vote. I think it still has to be signed by the President.

The bill bans USPS from delivering vapor products, requires adult signatures for deliveries from other carriers, and requires vendors to collect taxes. If it becomes law, it's time to buy what you need before this goes into effect.

Do we have any info on what is covered? Will it include flavorings and nicotine? It did seem that nicotine concentrate has slipped through the net sometimes on a technicality, being a raw material and not a ready to vape item.

And is there any info on when it would come into effect?

No doubt BT pods will still be available in convenience stores and gas stations on every street corner in America.

It looks like all the same things that are covered by the Deeming regs.

“(B) includes—
“(i) an e-cigarette;

“(ii) an e-hookah;

“(iii) an e-cigar;

“(iv) a vape pen;

“(v) an advanced refillable personal vaporizer;

“(vi) an electronic pipe; and

“(vii) any component, liquid, part, or accessory of a device described in subparagraph (A), without regard to whether the component, liquid, part, or accessory is sold separately from the device; and

And is there any info on when it would come into effect?

90 days after it becomes law.

(b) Effective date.—This section, and the amendments made by this section, shall take effect on the date that is 90 days after the date of enactment of this Act.

    Looks like I'll need to put a bunch of extra, new, stuff from my "stash" on the Classifieds, and get it shipped, sooner than I'd originally planned to do it. :blink: At least having 90 days from date of the bill's enactment will help with that.
    I am in the same boat but didn't want to list it right now as I have too much going on.

    Well, it's still as work-in-progress, and different sizes & shapes of freezer spaces will require different arrangements, but where i'm at now is 1/2 ltr bottles on their sides with 1/4 ltr bottles upright next to them. That just fits the width of our freezer drawer. I'll stack the larger bottles into 2 rows, then 2 more bottles in the curves between. Should still be able to close the drawer. Some 120 ml bottles may squeeze into a bit of space behind those rows; i've ordered that size to see.

    The hope is it will hold enough for a lifetime, though what a lifetime will be is impossible to know. Just have to guesstimate from averages and family history. Another liter may go into the frig. They say unfrozen nic starts to degrade after about 2 years, so that bottle would be in use while the frozen ones wait their turn.

    I had one partially used liter of 100mg nic at room temp for a couple of years. It turned a brownish gold. I drizzled it onto fire ant mounds in the yard (it worked). I now have 4 liters split into 100ml glass bottles in the freezer that are still completely clear after about 3 years. The bottles are in zip locks inside a cardboard box at 0 degrees F.

    It pays to freeze your nic.

    Well if you already ordered it you should be fine, right?
    FT and most Chinese vendors haven't been labeling US orders as "Vape" anything for a couple years now. I have a good stash of "toy remote controls" and "gravelocks".

    When I googled "gravelocks" this was my first result. While it looks like it might be delicious, I would not order it from Fasttech if you are expecting maximum freshness.

    Somewhere between here and there
    They started the PACT act right after I started using snus. I used to pay $5 for shipping before and now pay around $40 for shipping from Sweden. I’m guessing that shipping from US vendors will be somewhere in the $20’s for UPS with adult signature.

    Why, Mac, I put all of faith, my hope in government and the politicians and the bureaucrats who run it. Czar has ruined my life, he must be wrong.
