One of the more interesting lines in the AEI video came around the 1:55 mark. Saul Shiffman was saying that Pharma was trying to peddle their smoking cessation products that were deemed safe by the FDA but the problem was consumer demand was poor...."no one wanted them"...as he put it. So he was commissioned to try and figure out ways to spark consumer demand of these smoking cessation products. He contrasted that to vaping where people are lining up with cash in hand to buy vaping products so they can quit smoking. Translation....So the FDA whines that pharma couldn't spark consumer demand for their smoking cessation products yet here we are as a (growing) vape community screaming at the top of our lungs at the vape industry to TAKE OUR MONEY!!! The vape industry has done what Pharma could not do.!! Which goes back to my earlier point/question yesterday in that why didn't pharma embrace vaping as a medicine and market it themselves? It's either because they were too stupid or they felt it was less cost to kill vaping than it was to enter a new market. Not sure which.

Or they didn't think the market would take off. So....I'd say stupid.

Um...

Zonnic gum:

What Is ZONNIC

"All logos and trademarks are property of their respective owners. ©2016 Niconovum USA, Winston-Salem, NC, 27102"

Zonnic spray is a Swedish product manufactured by NicoNovum AB.

Nicotine mouth spray quickly curbs cravings

I'm officially confused.

We might only get the gum, at least for awhile, since I don't think there is a nicotine spray that's FDA approved.

I think you may be forgetting the FDA tested and approved ( by yours truly ), "DR prescribed" and safer alternative CHANTIX. nice world we live in, don't you think ?

Well, at least this would keep the 13 to 17 year olds from using ecigs.

ETA: "Most smokers will require 1-2 sprays every 30 minutes to 1 hour." Does it say anywhere what the nic level is? I might have to suck on the dang thing.

13.6mg/ml and 13.2ml in total.
One of the ingredients is Hydrochloric Acid :grr:

ETA: This was taken in one of our supermarket chains, situated at approx at 3' above floor level.

Since it's just below Maybelline (and I can't figure out what the picture is next to "QuickMist") perhaps this version is to be sprayed in one's eyes.

ETA: Maybe you can get one and review it. It seems that if it's an aerosol, there would be liquid inside. Perhaps you could punch a hole in it and see if the liquid is vapable.

The Maybelline is the next aisle over, I was squatting down so I could get as much packaging detail as I could ;) The product next to the QuickMist is nicotine gum.

I meant the round picture with the leaves next to the word QuickMist on the package.

Kind of expensive for 150 sprays..
You say the display is 3ft off the ground.
Is the item in a locked display case or could it be easily shoplifted
by a kid jonesing for nic?

Hazy

Oh look! It could be sprayed right on to an atomizer!

A pack a day smoker would need, at 2 sprays per ciggie,
40 sprays per day.
40 hits times 30 days = 1200 sprays divided by 150 hits per package
equals 8 packages of spray per month
at $39.99 = $319.92 plus tax, in FL if regular sales tax at 7%
is $342.31 to support a habit that costs me
as a DIY maybe 20 or 30 bucks a month.

Sweet. Thank you FDA and Nicorette!
