We await your review.
You'll wait for ever Cat Woman, I'm not buying that crap.
I quit smoking cold turkey. I'm very strong willed when I give it oomph.

Then 2 years later I bummed an Export A from a bud
out of curiosity if they'd changed 'cause I smoked those for a while.
I'm sure you know how that goes. That same week I rode down to Key West
with one of my stepsons who was vaping then.
I'd tried ecigs way back but hadn't liked the technology the FDA wants to throw us back to
nor the chemistry set taste of the Chinese juice of the time.
But the kit the kid was vaping on all the way down was cool
and it ticked me and everybody else that I needed to stop for a smoke
occasionally 'cause there were children in the car
while the kid, who did all the driving vaped all the way down and only had to stop once to pee.

So I got a surprise for a b-day father's day combo present
and been strictly vaping since. But If I ever have to stop vaping I can swing it, though I'll be very ticked off if I have to stop vaping involuntarily because I do not vape for smoking cessation
I vape because I enjoy it and like the stimulus and cognitive
enhancement of nicotine and should be able to do whatever I want with my life as long as it "harm none".

Ha-Ha...laughing at myself here...<off the soap box>
Tell us about it when you get it..LOL

Hydrochloric Acid sounds scary, but it's in your stomach and found in foods: What Foods Are High in Hydrochloric Acid? However, I don't know why it would be needed in a NRT product.

Hmmm... nice opening here.

Let's give 'em a dose of their own dirty tricks.

Let's publish a study ( with circular references to some p-t-p rag ) where the hydrochloric acid is claimed to harm the enamel of your teeth, erode your gums.
ethanol too. oh my gosh prepping 12 to 17 years old to get hooekd on booze.

I wonder if the volatiles in that spray would make for a nice fireball when sprayed onto a lit match...
would make a great clip on YT ...
but meh...jes ramblin..

Not bad overall, but somewhat disappointing that there wasn't a little more discussion in regards to the pressure to sin tax ecigs in order to make up for the tobacco bond hole so many states have dug for themselves, as well as the PMTA requirements pretty much leaving BT as the last man standing in the market.

What would the UK position be if there was pressure there to generate taxes from ecigs to replace a similar shortfall?

Would it be as enlightened?

Kind of expensive for 150 sprays..
You say the display is 3ft off the ground.
Is the item in a locked display case or could it be easily shoplifted
by a kid jonesing for nic?

Regards,
Hazy
No display case, it (and all other BP quit products) are on standard, supermarket shelving.

And as for taxation, sin taxes are truly regressive in nature. They punish the poor and lower middle class to an inordinate degree compared to high wage earners. Then again, the same can be said of government sanctioned gambling in the form of State (and multistate) lotteries meant to "fund" education. Because let's face it, who buys lottery tickets? Not a ton of high wage earners, or if they do at least perhaps only one or two tickets if the amount becomes quite high. Otherwise, it's low and middle class earners buying many tickets with the hope those prizes will fulfill their dream (not recognizing their chances are hardly improved by buying several tickets vs. one). And the states rely on projecting that "dream" just for revenue without having to justify an actual tax increase.

I have not taken umbrage. Not writing to state I have. Writing to express a view. Me & wife have & do live below federal poverty standards. We only buy one to three lotto tickets when the lotto gets exceedingly huge. Our logic is simple for three tickets, one for me. one for her & one for our kids.

We both feel George Carlin was correct. We're not asleep any longer though so the whole American dream gets lost on us. We muddle through with life & realize we're a lot wealthier than many others.

There was a time we survived through a week without electricity. Her grandfather allowed us use of a generator. He would run it four to six hours a day. It powered his home & ours. We used the minimum we needed to get by. Our cooking stove is natural gas or what is called LP, (propane I think). Our hot water runs off gas as well. We needed the refrigerator & freezers charged daily. There was no need for us to see anything on tell-lie-vision as there was not any truly valued content worth seeing, merely programming.

Him helping us cost me, him a 80-90 some year old stubborn mule of a man, working my bum off for the next two months. Each day he would try working me to death. He would also let folks in the area try it. I would get up before dawn, get dressed and march up to his porch. He would give me a cup of coffee, tell me what the day looked like coming up. I would go out with him to work, or someone drove by and hollered "hey boy, c'mon" at me. I would then go hop on a pickup bed and work sometimes even after dark. I would do nearly anything you can imagine, painting, digging holes/ditches, moving lumber, clearing brush/debris, building fires, helping tear motors down/rebuild, herd livestock, mow, toss hay on/unload it.

I would come home and my wife would shake her head, point me to the shower. It was always worth the day to enjoy a half hour in a hot shower. Also very much worth it, collapsing in her arms a bit. :) That makes us richer than the richest. They lack knowledge of value, even if they had it, they've forgotten it.

Having what you have in your relationship and marriage is way more valuable than money. And yes, our society warps our view to believe "stuff" is valuable, and the more stuff you have, the better off and more successful you are. True happiness is not found hitting the mall (but getting vape mail is lots of fun).

I hope you win with that ticket one day. It sounds like you understand it sure would be nice, but it's not nearly as important as your family life.

Or they didn't think the market would take off. So....I'd say stupid.

More accurately, they couldn't/wouldn't compete on the price point. Based on the price of that spray, they'd be looking at a cigalike equivalent that they'd sell for $50 and last a day or so.

One of the true joys in life is living with less and appreciating everything :) material goods do not make the person, character does.

Oh look! It could be sprayed right on to an atomizer!

I always get a chuckle out of videos like this. They always use a pretty girl to demonstrate their product. Someone should buck this practice and use an old, worn down biker just for a laugh. The pretty girl doesn't look like she has a cigarette addiction.

A pack a day smoker would need, at 2 sprays per ciggie,
40 sprays per day.
40 hits times 30 days = 1200 sprays divided by 150 hits per package
equals 8 packages of spray per month
at $39.99 = $319.92 plus tax, in FL if regular sales tax at 7%
is $342.31 to support a habit that costs me
as a DIY maybe 20 or 30 bucks a month.

Sweet. Thank you FDA and Nicorette!

.........And now you See it. They could not Corner us under Drug Administration for BP, so BP helped Finance the Campaign to DEEMonize us under Tobacco.:glare:
