I keep thinking "Men in Black"
So you're saying if we used a MIB neuralyzer on all Gov types, and anti vape peeps, we could wipe all vaping info from their memory and plant "you will leave vaping alone forever". :thumb:

Is it that? Or is it that Few have/offer a Solution?

No way, no how. The question is a matter of will not function.

No solution can survive two sets of laws: One for the privileged political, financial and bureaucratic elite or thereof, the selectively empowered; and, the other for the rest of us.

If it be asked, what is to restrain the House of Representatives from making legal discriminations in favor of themselves and a particular class of the society? I answer: the genius of the whole system; the nature of just and constitutional laws; and above all, the vigilant and manly spirit which actuates the people of America, a spirit which nourishes freedom, and in return is nourished by it...If this spirit shall ever be so far debased as to tolerate a law not obligatory on the legislature, as well as on the people, the people will be prepared to tolerate any thing but liberty." --Publius, The Federalist Papers : No. 57
The Avalon Project : Federalist No 57

Federalist No. 57 - Teaching American History

Ready to walk it back any way possible.

Good luck. :)

Page not found for the linkie, but looking around at my "fellow" citizens, most are consumed with survival on a paycheck to paycheck existence and are blind as to how their wealth is stolen from them. Debt slavery at its finest, and all the while lulled by shiny cheap things and sports ball. when will that 100'th monkey wake up...

Thx, fixed it. But I think we've run out of monkeys. Can't say it hasn't been great fun with our bunch of bananas. I'll be round long as I can pour the next recipe. Only wish the best for all'a yas.

Good luck. :)

Funny!

On a more serious note, I think that government has its hands full with Covid-19 at the moment. No action necessary. Nicotine occupies the same receptors as Covid-19 and blocks the virus, from what I read about it in the news.

Whatever happened to that one? There was talk a while ago of them researching it in France. They even had to regulate the sale of nic products because people were buying them up there. Haven't heard anything about it for months though.

What we have forgotten in a century…

To lay, with one hand, the power of the government on the property of the citizen, and with the other to bestow it upon favored individuals to aid private enterprises and build up private fortunes, is none the less robbery because it is done under the form of law and is called taxation. This is not legislation. It is a decree under legislative forms.

Citizen's Savings & Loan Assn v. Topeka, 20 Wall (87 US) 655, 664 (1874)
The Volstead Act: A Centennial to Note, Not Toast - Foundation for Economic Education

Good luck. :)

Other than the flurry of state "no flavor" regulations pre-September 9th, I haven't seen any shipment changes. No changes from overseas either.

Heavengifts stopped selling to the US, Wismec pulled out, many vendors closed their doors, 10's of thousands have lost their jobs, and the FDA is currently hiring people to start busting shops and manufactures. I'd say a lot has changed. :(

I thought all the vape industry lawsuits were over, but apparently this one is still going.

Federal Appeals Court Hears Deeming Rule Challenge

"A recent rulemaking policy change by the Trump administration may have been partially prompted by concern over a vaping industry lawsuit challenging the FDA Deeming Rule. That lawsuit is currently being appealed on the grounds that the old rulemaking procedure is unconstitutional."

"The circuit court judges seemed to concur, according to Courthouse News. All three questioned whether rules issued by officials not confirmed by the Senate were valid, with one even wondering whether the procedure of ratifying rules after the fact makes the Appointments Clause a “something of a dead letter.” "

And what is the precise harm that Congress found as a predicate to the expansive delegation of authority to define, constrain and decimate (expropriate) an entire industry?

Why does it fall upon the public to demonstrate that there is not a lawful need for authority to be granted the FDA?

And where are we the people, the actual stake holders of commercial choice in this matter represented? By anyone? Maybe we'd rather grant the equal voice and power to both independent commerce and government, rather than dictatorial bureaucratic monopoly.

Oh, ok, let's just sweep this new pesky industry challenge under the tobacco rug.

Good luck. :)

Here's another one which stopped shipping to the US. They are based in Spartanburg, South Carolina. :(

E-Liquid | DIY Vaping Supplies | NicVape

Here's what they said on Facebook I'm told.

"The FDA proposed regulations some time ago that would make it very difficult and expensive for companies in the US to continue the manufacturing/sale of vaping goods. After much time and consideration, we made the decision that we will not be filing PMTA's with the FDA due to the extreme costs and high likelihood of rejection. We are very sorry for the inconvenience!"

Well, I guess the positive aspect here with NicVape is they have a large enough international customer base in order to stay profitable (I assume). They've been around for a pretty long time.
