I used to be shy about it but know I will whip out a cattle prod if I can vape from it. I love the looks people give me, duh, are you smoking a screw driver!! I just laugh! Stop worrying!

Started with the little ecigs and felt awkward even in the smokehut..... Got comfy and then bought a bolt.... Felt awkward again.... Now I almost feel superior to the analogers

Semi stealthy at restaurants as well as shopping. Driving is open season. Gfs mom smokes outside their house, and while we were visiting, I was casually vaping while watching tv. She said, "hey no smoking in the house! ..... Just kidding lol".
I find that most people, once educated about it, tend to be quite receptive. That's just one raccoons experience.

Only been vaping for 6 days now but I have no problem doing it in public places. Honestly not a big fan of what others think about me or my actions. At work I still go outside with the others who smoke the stink sticks but I also can go to my office.
It just feels so strange to use an ecig in public. Most people see me and are curious. Standing at the station, no problem, but on a train, I couldnt. Whats your experiences. Out and proud or shy?
I feel the same as you. Just can't bring myself to vape in public.
I grew up watching Carl. Neil Degrasse Tyson is working on a sequel to Cosmos. It comes out next year. I can't wait.

When I bought my very first eGo and Clearomizer, I walked out of the shop using it...
There was a Fair in town and I walked right up the road and through crowds and right into the Rides
and Food areas, Vaping away!
I did get a few odd looks but no one asked what it was... if they would have, I would have gladly told
them what it was, what it was about, and where to get one.
I have even walked through a store or 2 using it... but I do somewhat hide it there as I have no real idea
what the store may say and I don't want to be tossed out over it so I try it keep it Low-Pro if I do use
it indoors.

I vape in my car all the time, even at stoplights...got a couple of dirty looks...which is understandable since it looks like I'm smoking something illegal, like opium or crystal ..... At work I usually vape in a single-stall bathroom, blowing plumes into an air vent...
I'm also vaping mostly when driving, using atty connected via passthrough. I don't like to vape in a public, except my e-pipe. When outdoors with the other smokers I felt a bit daft at first but when I dropped analogues within a couple of days I actually felt proud of myself and found it was a good way to introduce other smokers to vaping.
Round the office I don't tend to, I can't be dealing with the grief if someone takes umbridge to it (that's what toilets and the safe are for.)
If I'm outdoors I vape to my hearts content and if I'm round someones house I hold it in so there's no vapour, then you can't get complaints.

I'd be careful with a wooden box mod. Those could be mistaken for something COMPLETELY different.

I vape.. everywhere. In the office, on the job, driving betwixt and between the two. I have even been known to take a puff off my ecig after a good steak at the restaurant... I have had people ask me what sort of new fangled crack pipe I am carrying (Yes I had someone put it exactly that way) and have even been pulled over because the officer thought I was assembling some sort of pipe bomb at the stop light (ackward moment when law enforcement mistakes a lambo with an aga for a smoking pipebomb) All in all.. loud and proud, except for when at stoplights next to police officers, I now err on the side of caution with that.
I vape pretty much everywhere. Silver 1100 mah ego with a bright yellow 6 ml dct on the end of it. In the grocery, Walmart, restaurants. In 4 months, I've only been asked about it at the bar. Vaped while talking to a cop who pulled me over last month - he didn't even ask me about it. Nice guy, almost hoped he would.
The only thing that worried me about vaping and driving was using a e-cig with a big blue light at the end when you draw at night tends to attract attention from other drivers.

Ecigs are becoming more and more popular in my neck of the woods, and people seem to be switching to the healthier alternative to smokeing analogs, and encouraging there use. My friends see me not smoke anymore, and ask how I did it, and I just explain the postive aspects of there use, especially the aspect that nothing else I tried ever worked for me to get off the analogs. They get use to seeing me use a ecig now, and think nothing of it. I feel confident using my minis around other people, but like others, am discreet when I use my big honkin mod. Waitin for the day, I get pulled over, for suspicious looking device in use. lol.
