How you slot it doesnt matter. There is a horizontal coil with a wick hanging down some part of the way down the tube. I'm not sure how far down it goes as i havent taken one apart. The wick is amongst the filler material. So juice gets into the filler and is then sucked up by wick up to the coil. The coil isnt touching the filler at all. The wicking action pulls juice up to the top and keeps all the filler wet. It's like a constantly cycling motion. The excess juice on the wick gets soaked up by the filler, which feeds the wick.

Hey Barefoot...wow, I'm surprised that you have to keep adding drops of juice...using the stallions in my tanks, I have no problem keeping the filler wet...when I punch the 2 holes with my saddle valve, I give them an extra half to 3/4 turn...have been doing that with all my carts.

What size saddle valve are you using? Any issues with dulling the tip?

Any real reason to take off the sticker before you punch the holes? Would leaving the sticker on inside the tank cause any problems?

I've been vaping with stickers on for months. They may not fit in certain tanks. I use Momnpops tanks, and they are fine. I've had one in for a solid month and the sticker didn't budge, or wear. I vape unflavored only tho, might have issues with flavored juices.

It's frowned upon here at ECF, but I make my life decisions independently of websites.

Just received my Stallions and all I can say is: Wow! I really like this thing a lot! I'm using them on both my 650 & 1000 ego-Ts, both the flavor and vapor I'm getting is fantastic.

Good to hear. Have you any other fillered, such as Bogelr's, to test against? Or any other carto comparisons? Are the ohms, build consistant?

I never did i would of thought the sticker would get gummy and dissolve interesting.

It's like a vinyl sticker, I believe, not paper. Think bumpersticker. The glue is very hard to get off, some people use wire brushes. Quite possible that it might come off with citrus or cinnamin tho, it's never been tested to my knowledge.

IIRC I think Danno mentioned something about maybe there might be some of these Stallions coming in just SS in the future, I hope.

I peel mine, punch 2 good sized holes, put 'em in my Mom and Pop and vape away. Taste, TH and vape are pretty darned good, seems to me. I think as good, maybe better, than before the Boges went funny(funky taste).

Honestly, I'm only 6 weeks into vaping and have only used Stardusts. I'm just starting to branch out. I've avoided anything with filler material because of the flavor problems I've read about. I decided to give the Stallion a try after reading the glowing reviews in this thread. I'm looking for a system that's a 'low hassle' way to get my nic fix and so far the only complaint is not knowing how much juice is left. I guess I'll just have to top them off once or twice a day.
A quick question: How are people cleaning these? Any tips or tricks yet?

These hybrid cartos are AWESOME! My 510-T batteries last like a day and a half of constant vaping with these babies! The prefilled fluid I tried (citrus mix) tasted like coconut/styrofoam, but once I added my own juice after the citrus mix was empty (2 days later!) it tasted amazing. Can't beat the battery life. Looks like I got about 2 weeks out of mine before the fill goes flat and it won't vape right anymore, but soooo worth the price! :)

After 3 weeks of constant use, I decided to clean the 2 that I've been using constantly...I soaked them in vodka over night and then let them dry for the next 24 hours. Dry burning was a real chore because of course I waited to long...on purpose to see how long they would last. The coils were covered with a fat, black gunk but finally the coils came thru with a bright glow. I have decided to clean them every 10 days and right now they are performing the same way they did out of the box 3 weeks ago...will see how they do as time goes by...hope this helps and I'm sure that some of you will have other cleaning ideas that I would surely be intrested in hearing about.
