I tested the tank a little bit now. The performance is great. A lot of air, good flavor and it is wicking great.
But the quality sucks. Topfill is way too small, can't get my liquid in there with my plastic bottles.
The positive pin is not screwed, but pressed which results in that a lot of people have a loose positive post on the deck. The screws are really bad quality . The adustable part of the positive pin is relly short, when screwed in completely, my mods can't get any connection, when screwed out a little bit it is too loose..

I had hopes that they learned something from the cthulhu v2 but it seems like they shipped a prototype. The vendor wrote them a message and reclaimed the complete batch he got. He also told them he wants these issues to be fixed or he will not order a second time.

Here is a pic how the positive post is put together. I really ask myself why they do something like that. I mean it is not like this is their first atomizer...

This saddens me. I'm hoping the first ones they ship out after the holiday are not afflicted with these issues. I'll be sending mine back as well.

I never has issues with my V2 Cthulhu, but knowing the future issues of the Hastur RDTA, it worries me now.

I heard this (poor quality) a lot with the V2 :( I was in on the pre order, I have #984 for the V2.
Mine was fine! My V2 is still one of my best atty's!
I will save judgment on the Hastur until I get mine!

Got mine yesterday! No problems with build quality, everything is nice and smooth. It performs really well. IMO it's much better than Bellus.

The only problem is that tiny fill hole. You will need a bottle with small tip.

My first build is: Dual parallel 0.25mm kanthal, ø2.5mm 8 wraps and 0.6ohms. Great with 42 watts (5volt).

Wicking and building this thing is very easy.

I just realized something....the filling cap looks like the Crius but it doesn't work like the Crius at all. Where with the Crius you can raise and lower the top cap ten times and not one drop will go into the build deck... with the Hastur you will be pushing air down onto the liquid and pushing the liquid into the deck. I hope I am missing something but if I am right....wow that is so stupid.

Look at this review:

The whole point of side fill, if done correctly, is that you will not get any leaking when you shut the cap. You don't need to close the airflow or Juice flow for it to work perfectly.

Good point.

@Fahrenheit, how does the top fill work for you? I would think if the wicking is done right, it wouldn't matter ala Bellus.

To be honest, top fill is pain in the .... You really need that needle nose bottle to fill that thing. I tried small tipped plastic bottle like that unicorn bottle mentioned before. It didn't work very well.

The problem is, that liquid will fill that hole, so air can't escape. It is REALLY slow to fill that thing with bottle like these. And, because it takes so long to get liquid in that tank, no matter how much cotton you have there, it will flood eventually. It may work with needle nose?

What I have done: I've unscrewed chimney with that glass, flipped it over and filled it like Subtank. Works pretty well, but there is a change that glass comes off because just O-ring is holding it. Imagine that you have just filled it with 6.7ml liquid and glass comes off :(

Is there an easy way to bottom fill at all? Although it's a pain, I wound up learning the fine art of bottom filling my Cthulhu V2 tank. No matter what I did, with top filling the Cthulhu V2, juice always flooded the deck. Grrrr! So, I found a work around for this issue.
