Now you can have a different looking MVP anytime that you want one :)

Honestly, I do not care for the new Shine MVPs at all. The skulls and butterflies is just not something that I personally would want to look at all of the time. But, these skins look pretty good to me as well :toast:

Yup I'm excited I'm getting bored of my zebra print skin. Yea with the Shine MVPs they are defiantly not for a guy lol. They look cool though but even if I was a girl it's a bit to much bling.

Wraps are nice but sometimes its just awesome to rock that standard look/feel :)

I totally agree except because of my job I got a scratch on my black cf MVP2. I work as a teamster in a refinery. So these are a protection/style mix for me.

So over a week ago I posted on here that I ordered from JWraps to get a wrap for my MVP.I was really excited about it! But it's been over 1 week and they still haven't shipped my order. After a few days I emailed them and asked when my order would be shipped...and they explained that had a printer problem the week before and were a bit behind, but they would ship it out "very soon".

Another couple of days passed and still not shipped. I reached out again, then they said they were behind because of bad weather.I can understand that...I'm guessing they had to shut down shop because of snow? Not sure. They are located in NC.

Thing is...they already charged my credit card for the money.

To those of you who have ordered from them before...is it normal for them to not ship quickly? I know some juice vendors that are known for taking their time, but I at least know what to expect from them. This is my first order from Jwraps.

Had no issues with my order. They were responsive and fast. It's a nice wrap, so I think you will be happy when you receive it. My R2D2 rocks.

They have always been pretty quick with me and any problems I have had, they dealt with it quickly. I have a J-wrap end stand that too about 2.5 weeks. but those are made to order, so I knew before I ordered. Printer issues would be a serious problem with making wraps and we shut down the university a bit ago for weather, so I personally wouldn't be worried about it. Heck, I didn't even get packages for 2 days :/ My postman just handed out pink slips and told me they were not delivering packages when I stood watching them put pink slips in the boxes :/

WOW, nothing like a preference to a statement to cover the bases and then say what they said is a lie! WOW, just WOW. I'm glad you know all and see all, in the mean time I'll stick with what the B&M told me, I know them, not you.

I really don't think that Cap't was calling you a liar. I think he was stating there is a more probable explanation for what you experienced

Counterfeiting and cloning is rampant on relatively easy mechanical products such as Mech Mods, Atty's and tanks. But with regulated mods it becomes a bit more difficult.

Innokin DOES sell unbranded product to allow others to brand them. One such product is the eLego brand, shown here:
Elego VV v3 Express - ITCVapes

While it is not beyond the realm of possibility to "clone" a regulated mod like the VV3 or MVP, the question must be asked, can it be done "cheaper" which is the whole purpose of someone "cloning". Since the unit in question is already manufactured in China, I imagine that the only thing a "cloner" could do, is to replace the battery with a smaller capacity battery.

That is possible, but would that be sufficient to save enough money to justify counterfeiting? The wholesale cost for an MVP or VV3 is so low, that it's hard to make them cheaper.

And if any regulated mod were to be "cloned" it would most likely be the highly touted ProVari and not the modest MVP. A mod based on the ProVari chipset would sell like hot cakes...

More than likely, you either experienced an MVP that was not Innokin branded, or perhaps, a company bought factory rejects from the back dock that Innokin rejected.

These two scenarios are much more within the realm of probability than someone actually creating full blown counterfeits.

Now Innokin and Fasttech did get into a pissing contest awhile back, and got into a war of words. Innokin stopped just short of accusing Fasttech of selling fakes by mentioning that Fasttech was not on their list of known vendors/customers. Of course this could be because Fasttech used a front company to purchase them from Innokin. Innokin was not pleased that Fasttech was selling all their product at below their suggested retail which is why they came up with the whole scratch card thing.

I don't know if we'll ever know the whole story there.

So while it is feasible you did catch a clone "in the wild" it's more likely that you got an off branded unit or factory reject.

Dude relax all he said was no one here has seen a cloned mvp. So unless you have proof(since you made the claim the burden of proof falls on you) we have no reason to believe what was said by a random person we don't know to be true. Please just relax and take a deep breath my friend.

I have the Frost MPV and once it does get scratched, it came with a free wrap, so I can put on anytime... What I like about the energy Frost is does have a plastic coating to protect it. :2c:

Man card at play here
1: duct tape only black or silver.
2: plasti-dip.
3: be proud of the scratches.

kidding really we need more options for covers.

They do look alike. I wonder if they would not be close to the same price after you pay shipping on yours though. I really like VapingTown. I have never had packages delivered to me faster by any other vendor so far :) With the exception of one that is only 3 hours away from me.

Innokin does offer all their products unbranded or private label if a company buys a large enough quantity, but other than that, not one knock off has ever showed up. Nothing against your B+M but I would have to see a picture before I believe the MVP is being cloned. No one has EVER shown one and other than Innokin themselves yours is the first report of one.

They might get to cloning it some day (probably sooner than later) but as of now, we have never seen one.

WOW, nothing like a preference to a statement to cover the bases and then say what they said is a lie! WOW, just WOW. I'm glad you know all and see all, in the mean time I'll stick with what the B&M told me, I know them, not you.

I normally wouldn't respond to some one who reacts with this kind of nasty attitude but since your new here I'll give it one try.

I never said any thing about your statements being a lie. In case you are some how handicapped with your reading comprehension I quoted myself above so you can read it again and hopefully more fully grasp the meaning. I said nothing about your statements. What I said was I don't believe what your B+M told you they saw was in fact a clone.

You are basing your opinion on what a person at a B+M, who is trying to sell "authentic" products, told you. I am basing my opinion on many moths of ownership of both the V1 and V2 as well as following this and every other thread on here about the MVP. If a clone was out there it would have shown up here, it has not. WOW, actual facts. Not hear say and he said she said. Just facts

I don't really care what you believe, it effects me not. You can believe the scratch and sniff malarkey if that makes you happy. I will however stand by my statement that at this time there are no known clones of the MVP.

Have a WOW kind of day!

This *exact* same thing is happening with my order from 1/22. I got the exact same stories about the printer and the weather causing a delay. The fact that the stories are identical makes me think they're true. I'm still waiting for my shipping notification. I'm trying to be patient but I WANT MY WRAP!! I might contact them again tomorrow to see what's up.
