Thicker than what gauge???

:2c:
well, I am leading myself, to believe the low power limit of the MVP
does not respond well to thicker than standard (32ga) kanthal wire
sort of along the lines of an eGo stick battery...

I play so much with “Ω” and then just see a big difference while using
28ga, 30ga, 32ga – keep in mind , I have no high powered devices

so I am gonna build a small army of 34ga coils and take them out dancing
and see what kind of results I get…

just a matter of taking the time to do it

Since I've come to prefer CartoTanks I've kinda' ignored all the "latest/greatest" Clearomizers.

However...today I ran across an "ASPIRE NAUTILUS Glassomizer - *GENUINE*- FAST/FREE SHIPPING - USA" for less than the price of 3 packs of analogs...$20.49.

It comes with 2 coil heads.

Any suggestions on a good place to get replacement coil heads?
Aspire Nautilus Glassomizer Genuine Fast Free Shipping USA | eBay

this is best price, but of course OutOfStock (be worth watching)

- Aspire Nautilus Replacement Coils - 5 pack - USA Vaping Supplies

this is next best I know of for those big-o-coils

.....@clnire, ordered a Kayfun Mini 2.1 from F.T. on the 7th & was suppose to ship on the 13th, it's status is in "restock" so no telling when it's coming...been checking everyday, so be prepared to wait longer than usual.

ordered another Nemi Hybrid adapter and 2 drip tips last nite from F.T. and they have already shipped this morn...who knows?

I love FT for the prices, but the delivery is a PITA. Got my order on Tuesday and I ordered in early May, but because 1 of the 10 items I ordered was not in stock, they waited to send it all out.

I agree brother, the price is worth the wait. For what i would pay for a clone here in the US, I can buy a clone and about 6 or 7 other cool items.

Got my first FT order a couple days ago! Took 19 days, man that was sooo painful! But yeah you can't beat the prices!

Besides catching up on this here forum, this is what I've been up to!
I still use my MVP and just converted another smoker(my son) to an MVP! That makes 5 more people with MVPs?/VV3s I've converted! Yes I am proud of that! :D

Nemesis mod in hybrid mode!

the gear is looking good ;)

yepper, something special about converting people, love it... :D

I bought the SM30 RDA from FT as I liked the small size and thought it would work great on the MVP...
Boy was I wrong. I had to drill a hole to get any airflow and built a 1.1 ohm out of 26 gauge and hardly any vapor production, even at 11 watts.
Tried it on my mech and it still does almost nothing.

Good new is I am only out $3...I will pay it forward to someone I guess.

Anyone have one of these that works well on MVP?

have you tried 32ga around a big 2mm wick ?
I do that in one of these and all is good,
- http://cdn1.bigcommerce.com/server4...nix_Clone__67654.1345152751.1280.1280.jpg?c=2

kinda small fussy build, (1.6-2.0Ω)
and my threads are - lets say, not ‘510’ but maybe ‘509’ (small, sloppy) - but once I get it attached it vapes pretty well...

I am 3 months into vapes - mostly online ordering. I found a real Bricks & Mortar shop (Vaporphoxxe) and went there - as there are Sooo many options online. They (VaporePhoxxe) recommended the MVP both for my carry-around needs and my sit-at-home-plugged-in needs. Note that the Kit for these can include 2x1.6ml clearmizors or 1x3ml clearmizors - I got 2 of the mvp's with i30 clearmizors and i'm blown away. The battery unit is twice the size of a bic lighter, more pocketable thqan I expected before I saw it in person - and the tank i30 is about the size of a bic lighter - 3ml, plastic, top coil with a Rediculous amount of wicking - and that cool swivel tip.

I also got a glass cartomizer - glassomizer - for those flavors known to cause problems with plastic tanks.

Anyway it fits in my pocket without making me wear a belt - and lasts all day - and plugs into my computers USB 500ma port and lasts all day - I am very happy with it. It goes up to 11 watts but the juices I have seem best between 7 and 9 watts so - eleven seems plenty. I basically adjust the power setting when I change tanks = 7.5 or 9 - fruity or tobacco respectively - and then it goes and keeps on going.

Welcome!

It really is one of the nicest and certainly the best value in a box mod out there today.

Ok, I can see making a coil from copper (dunno why) but a spring? I don't see how you get any tension whatsoever with copper.

you get plenty of tension, enough for a switch anyway.......it works what can i say and if ya need a new one just make it......was getting tired of giving supermagnetman my money every other week....give it a try why don't ya!

FYI - the Copper wire i'm using is 18ga, i'd like to see ya make a coil out of that!

Well I did it. Ordered a Kayfun Mini from FT last night. When it finally gets here let the fun begin! I already rebuild my Evod/Protank and Igo-L and other drippers is have so I am looking forward to this.

pardon the typos, on my phone :)

I just got my kayfun clone this week. I, too, had been rebuilding my EVOD heads (as practice) and landed a perfect 1.9ohm on my first try! I think I need to get one with the adjustable airflow, tho. I might look into the mini for my VV3 (the kayfun lite is just too big and top-heavy for the VV3, but sits quite nicely on MVP2 :)) Damn y'all for making me want to buy more stuff :D

The risk/reward is worth it for me. What did you get Stier?
Now the new shiny syndrome occurs :) it wittles away at my bank account.

I have to get some 30 and 32 then. I want a small Dripper for my MVP and I ordered 2 for $3 each. I just gifted one to a B&M guy I like and told him to let me know how he sets it up. I had to drill out one side already and may need another.

I have 28 for KFL and use 26 for my Patriot and my new favotite Stillare clone.
Sando told me about it and I love it.
Gonna get a Copper Nemi and matching Tobh next.

Darn these subohm tasty clouds!

I think I am gonna need to talk with you then. I got a magnet set for my Turtleship last week and I don't like how soft the switch is now.
Let me know what I need to get bro.

Lets see I got....
Three new black tubes for my Nemesis, a hybid kit for my Nemesis, 10 magnets for switches, and 5 little 510 stands for my attys. All for under $20 shipped! Can't beat that!

I just got my first FT order today, only 10 days! And through Chicago ICS, nonetheless.

Nice!

After using 28 gauge for micro coils for the Kayfun it seems to be working very well , at first i thought it was too thick but they have been working great . I use the 30 and 32 gauge for Pro Tank rebuilds , the 30 gauge seems to be ideal for both builds , not liking the 32 much , too thin.
