Frankly, it tastes awful, I mixed in a little mint with it to tone it down.

It's really using a lot of juice...is there a glass tank that's single coil you can recommend? I was using the Smoktech Pyrex Aro, but the draw was way too tight. So I got the new Evod glass tank, which draws much better, but using too much juice.

Thanks...

you went from: 1.8Ω @ 3.6v = 7.2w/2a
to 1.5Ω @3.3v = 7.26v/2.2a
so just a little ‘hotter’ and you hear the crackin’ :p

nothing to do with your signal, just simply the amount of heat applied
sounds like you hit your sweet spot, how’s it tasting ?? :p

I have the Pyrex Aros, and a mini ProTank 2. I really like the mini PT2. Doesn't hold as much juice as the Aro, but the draw (and interchangeable drip tip) is really nice. I have a bunch of regular EVODs and I rebuild all my coils now. Around $12 for the mini PT2 on different sites (this is one I won't buy from FastTech). I don't know if it's because of my coil builds, but it sure *seems* like the mini PT2 goes through juice faster than even the EVODs. I've not "calculated", but it's not the end of my world either.

I'll get "crackles" occasionally, too. Once in a great while, I'll get a hot sputter too - merely surprising, but I'm o.k. with it.

I've played with one before at the local B&M. If felt...cheap..... and not as bulletproof as my MVP. It may just be me, but I don't think it would survive to many drops, something that I seem to constantly do with my MVP. The groove has more battery life and wattage than the MVP does though.

If you read the reviews that comment surfaced a number of times. I believe the manufacturer is Smoktech not known for high quality.

are you rebuilding coils yet ??
(get the dual coil, rebuild it as single)
then it opens the door for all the newer cool tanks…

have a couple of these and they are very good
- $3.32 RGM2 Bottom Coil Clearomizer (2.0mL) - glass tank / 2.2ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

these are very interesting:
- Mini HyperTank 2

then the old workhorses:
- Kanger Protank 2 Clearomizer
- The Trophy V2 Bottom Coil Tank

think these are my current favorites (poly) ;)
price & performance, nothing can touch it (I don’t do tank-cracker juice)
kanger bcc fit...
- RBC Clearomizers

soon, I’ll have one of these (or 2, or 3)
- Kanger MOW Pyrex Dual Coil Clearomizer w/Air Flow Control
glass, tip, w/Air Flow Control, but most of all, "EGO Threads"
yay, ego threads :hubba:

:)

ever try a vivi nova ‘top coil’ w/ metal tank ?
- Vision Vivi Nova Tank System - Metal Tube

MVP2 $31.95

Innokin

FWIW, from an old ebay store that states Ebay is systematically cancelling all vaping products from it's pages. So they set up their own web site.

Forgot... 10% off with coupon code RBNEW10 which brings them to UNDER $30!

how ‘bout this one…
- iTaste MVP v2.0 Kit - Black [WSV-MVP-BK] - $24.99

been watching it for awhile now,
funny how they are conveniently sold out (@ this $$)
wonder what the odds when back n stock, the price will change… ?

I see this a lot all over www
great prices while sold out, (I think they drop $$ once it is OOS)

Actually the bigger news for me is that Ebay is cancelling all vape related products.

that's old news

they've been doing that for a long time (their policy)

everybody just took the name e cig out of title (vaporizer etc)
and it has been a slow process for ebay to filter them out

I don't do ebay, just what I read about such...

think amazon has / had similar policy, but maybe converted ?

like I said, not living it, just reading it...

I want a Dalek for my desk... It's Whomania month here! Unfortunately doesn't ship to Argentina :( Maybe I could throw the MVP electronics onto it...

Doctor Who 12-inch 50th Anniversary Collector Edition Dalek: Amazon.co.uk: Toys & Games

not a ‘giant’ Doctor Who follower, but Who-mania is pretty cool… :toast:

now a Dalek Supreme ‘mod’ (MVP guts) on desk, in your possession
would be pretty awesome…

did a little researchin’, kinda a dim view towards vaping in your area
was looking for a small screw to fit your air-flow control

:)

Was thinking of getting a 2nd MVP2...but have just run across the Groove II.

It's slightly less expensive than the MVP2 $36.99 but it has a wider range (3V-6V, 3W-15W) and a larger capacity battery (3800mAh).

Any thoughts???

The Groove 2

It looks really cool gerry, I would check and see if there are any threads on here from users. I like the bigger batt for sure! Let us know what you find out, or a review if you buy it.
