Ya.. been going on for awhile now..

Not really. AFAIK they never accepted them in the first place. Now those that got thru by not using ecig and whatever in their heading are finding themselves getting cut. Ebay is on the hunt for them.

Actually the bigger news for me is that Ebay is cancelling all vape related products.

that's old news
they've been doing that for a long time (their policy)
everybody just took the name e cig out of title (vaporizer etc)
and it has been a slow process for ebay to filter them out
I don't do ebay, just what I read about such...
think amazon has / had similar policy, but maybe converted ?
like I said, not living it, just reading it...

what just happened there ??
kinda just did a "180" after, You made the statement...

way I've read it, they don't allow cigs, then lumped e-cigs in with said

so that whole exchange sort of throws me off ... ?

No, those that got in didn't use ecig in ads as you said. That's how they got in. Now they're seaching thru to find those that got in and dumping them.

They never let them in. Now they're cancelling those existing accounts that were able to sneak in. That, I think is a new tactic.

and like I say, I'm typing without any experience
it is just what I've read here-n-there...

people started selling thinking (which is true) that it IS NOT tobacco products
and then the site froze them out (e cig in titles, etc.) (very bad policy)

so the trickery began with the 'cute' names to mislead the search bots ??

but just in here, just like the many posts "is fastech any good to order from ?"
there are many, "ebaay is gonna ban ecig sales..."
bet if ya really cared to look, some of those probably date back a ways...

doom and gloomers ,

I don't bother with 'that' site, so makes no diff to me...

Phil looked at the iPV V2. He was pretty cranky so I'm glad I held off:

Well, moved down to 12mg nicotine on one of my juices yesterday. I cant tell much of a difference in how it hits! I think I might be vaping it slightly more, but not by that much. It kind of sucks since I bought 2 30ml bottles of flavors I like with 18mg, but oh well (I can dillute them, mix in some 0mg, etc). I can go hours now without even having any kind of craving! This vaping stuff is like magic- no wonder the FDA has their fangs out.

Pretty pleased though. Been off the stinkies 1.5 months and now just as many of you my nicotine requirements are going down. I hope to be down to 6mg within the year :)

Thanks for the good tips everyone has been sharing. Even when I dont comment I read all the replies, and Ive learned a ton here.

My MVP acted a little screwy yesterday. Despite being very careful about screwing my tanks on, I get the impression the connection on the MPV is slowly sinking into the body. Tried taking the screws off the top to pull it apart and have a look, but couldnt reasonably pull it apart without worrying about breaking it. I have 3 clearomizers now (iclear 30, aerotank mega, and my fave the protank 2), but still only the one MVP. Need to get another mod as a backup. Ive been thinking about another MVP or possibly an SVD. Ive also decided im going to give a Russian 91% RBA a chance (Kayfun clone with external AFC). Im trying to avoid dripping since im afraid it will spoil me for flavor :p

Anyways, thanks again for this great thread folks. Hopefully I can contribute at some point.

What does everyone use on top of thier MVP? right now im using a protank3 with an air flow base (which was the best 3$ i ever spent on vape Gear)

Im interested in getting something new for better use with my MVP, i am looking into RTA's dripping wouldnt work for me unless im at home which isnt much?

what would be the best rebuildable tank thats pretty durable?

I use a Protank 2 w/ adjustable airbase as my main clearomizer on my MVP. Vapes great. The Protank 3 as I understand uses heads similar (same?) as the Aerotank, which is external wick (wick protrudes from coil unit unlike Aerotank Mega coil heads) bottom-coil dual coil configurations. As I understand it, the Protank 3 heads can be rebuilt, and I can tell you from (my limited) firsthand experience there is a lot to be gained by rebuilding coils yourself. If nothing else, at least try rewicking from silica to cotton- thats the single best change I made. Others also are trying rayon.

You need: 1/16th inch drillbit, 32 guage and 30 guage kenthal wire, a good pair of tweezers, a solid pair of wire cutters (or finger nail clippers without a beveled cutting edge), a package of paper plates, a bag of ORGANIC cotton balls (or roll of rayon), and a roll of paper towels. All of this should cost you maybe twice what a 5 pack of protank 3 heads will cost, but it will last you 10 times longer (or more). If you want info on how to actually make the coil, youtube can help, or post here and Ill tell you how I do it. That said, others here are far more masterful than me.

In terms of what configuration you should use, that is all personally subjective. Most rolling aerotank or protank 3 coils rewire/rewick with a single coil configuration. On my protank 2, I rewire the coil 32 guage 6 wraps (resulting in 2.0ohms). Things to remember: 1) the thicker the wire gauge, the longer it takes to heat up but the better it vapes (due to surface area) all other things equal 2) the more wraps you do of a given guage, the higher the resistance of the resulting coil AND the more thermal mass is present- again, it will take longer to heat up but hit harder when it does, 3) different juices like different wattages, so experiment.

You can try different coil sizes (1/16th drillbit results in a micro-coil, bigger becomes standard coil, smaller eventually becomes nano coil). The Protank 2 I think is best suited by 1/16th, but the Protank 3 should have more room to try other things.

As for upgrading beyond the Protank 3, Im in the same boat with the Protank 2. Most people around here end up with Kayfuns or Russian 91% RBA (Rebuildable Atomizer) or go RDA (Rebuildable dripping atomizer). I myself am planning on trying a Russian 91% when I get the $$ since it has an external airflow control and its a quality piece of kit. The Kayfun Lite Plus and the EHPro clone of it get high marks too. Generally speaking, the airflow control is considered better on the Russian as it allows for a more airy draw and can be adjusted without removing the unit, but otherwise they are both great.

Im sure others far more experienced will be along with advice shortly. I figured id share my thoughts since you and I are in similar situations.

Bear, believe it or not, I have a bunch of EVOD tanks that I use most often on my MVP (and other devices.) They're quick and easily portable for me. I rebuild my heads (per jandry - 1/16th drill bit and typically 30g kanthal. about 8-9 wraps gets me about 1.8-ish ohms. Typically cotton, but my buddy, donesmokin, gifted me some cellucotton that I'm starting to work with.) I have 4 kayfun clones that I've been futzing with for about 6 weeks now. Still trying to figure out the right combo of coil/wick to avoid those nasty burnt hits. I have one (the 3.1ES) that is vaping like a beast - smooth, smooth, smooth draw; no burnt hits. I have one mini KF that is acting quite similar. My kf lite (no airflow) is behaving quite nicely at the moment as well. Still working out kinks on the 2nd mini. All my clones from fasttech. Took about 2-3 weeks from order to delivery, and only spent about $65 for all four.

Haven't delved into any other RB/T/DAs for now. New direction is DIY juice. :) Trying to see if I can keep from spending ANYTHING on vaping supplies in the month of August :D

Hey, donesmokin, how you feeling? Earlier pic showed some mod happiness :)

I was running Kanger T3S and T3Ds on my MVP up until I got the new Aspire Nautilus Mini with the redesigned bottom vertical coil assembly. I haven't taken it off of my MVP in two weeks (other than to fill refill it!)

thanks so much, im starting to look into rebuilding my coils, because i constantly am getting burnt tastes ever once and a while with the stock heads, which is another reason i got an MVP because it does check resistance and bought about 6ft of 32 guage kanthal for a buck at a local b&m and i will give i a shot see how it goes. and i have been looking at the russians and kayfun but i think i might have to wait my better half would have a S*^T fit if i bought anything else right now. my banner says ive saved about 1900 but its more like only 600 because im a juice junkie now lol

I also use mostly Evod style "tanks". Great for travel, easy to rebuild and I get great performance with cotton or rayon wicks. One of these days I will get a Kayfun or Russian but I travel so much with business what I have works for me. If it ain't broke don't fix it. But then there is shiny syndrome and wanting more..... toys
