If it is just the layout you aren't liking you can go back to the way it was. For me the only thing that has changed is the like system and I kinda like that change :)

That's good to know. I'm a status quo kinda gal who hates change! Time for me to go with the flow!

Soon you'll be stocking up on emojis [emoji5]
The selection here is pretty good, but still keep a small private stash for special occasions.

Just to say, apropos of upthread chatter: Brits tend to be royalists. You'll note my namesake and make your own conclusions as to my views on that. Oh, and the whole Guy Fawkes "celebration" thing is much more complex and interesting than most people care to admit - not least, bound in with odd pagan stuff which is quite region specific.

Emojis - for sure. Anyone seen some gooduns?

Seriously, might I humbly suggest that "You" create a seperate thread for these suggestions, especially given that Ya' might get more emoji/smiley suggestions then you bargain for posted here once the word gets out . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Maybe mods should have access to their own collection, relevant to the job!
For that matter, allow each user to store a limited library of their own emojis that would populate the editor.

I think the "optimistic" icon is meant to be taken as - "that's a bit optimistic", i.e. "don't get your hopes up"! So, in that reading, perhaps "neutral" is fine.

If that's what it means, you need another icon, like a unicorn, perhaps? ;) Rainbow is all about hope and joy and optimism and good luck and renewal. From Genesis to the LGBT movement, there's nothing neutral about a rainbow. Just sayin....

New likes are fun. I agree that useful and informative are redundant. We need a hug and a thanks.

My only minor gripe is with the "disagree" icon. Only because, IMHO, it's the only one that actually requires an explanation. If I like, love or find a post helpful or funny, it's self-explanatory. It's just an acknowledgement, a nod, a smile. But when someone disagrees with a post, I would like to know why. It actually just happened to me on another thread--somebody disagreed with a member's statement, and I kept scrolling down in search for the reason or an explanation, to no avail. This is not to say that I'm against the "disagree" button, just that, as I already discovered, it can leave the reader wondering, and it can be very confusing for a new member looking for help. Just a thought.

I have a suggestion..

we need a ? button... there are posts I cannot like because I do not understand them. A question mark would be lovely.. that would indicate I have read them, and also indicate I haven't a clue what they were talking about..

Kind of like a thread saying hey people, I have a sore throat and cant vape! How do I get my nic fix? So someone says avoid bleach..lol.. LOVE a question mark for that one!
