Ok friend Porchers. For those of you that pray, please pray for my friend Michelle. She's in ICU and isn't doing well. God answers prayers. I know this! She's only 36 years old but has some sort of infection in her body they cannot find. Within 3 days, she has deteriorated and is now on a ventilator. Her parents are now driving here from Amarillo, a 7 hour drive. So please pray for their safe trip, and for her.

Kenna, we used to flip houses. Some of the shoddy work was down right scary! Glad you are all fixed up now and your place is going to be all fresh and new outside.

I don't know what these planks are that they are putting up. They kinda look like cement inside. I'm not crazy about the color. You know that funky yellow crayon in the big boxes of Crayolas? A little like butterscotch pudding but more yellow. That's what the color reminds me of. With dark green trim. It's a real shock to the eyes after 12 years of taupe with dark green doors. It was very neutral & matched the brick. I'm waiting to see if the doors stay dark green, or if they paint them orange or something.

A company I worked for sent me to Denver to learn about WildBlue Satellite and teach the program to our tech agents for tech support when I returned. WildBlue was still a relatively young company at the time. If you found a problem or bug in any of the WildBlue software or reference material and reported it they would send you a virtual omelet. They would send you a file and when you opened it a picture of an omelet would appear and the CD Rom drawer would open on your CPU.

Well that's just cool!

I bought my mobile home in 1993, the same year it was constructed. For a good number of years I got mail regarding the legal action against the Quest internal plumbing. If there had been a failure, I could have gotten my home replumbed with copper up until something like 2004 as a condition of the settlement, but I've never had any problem with it.

I need to replumb my sisters trailer. It has quest and springs little pinhole leaks quite regularly.

I was just glad AT&T took responcibility, got someone out here the day after I called, & didn't try to stick me with a service charge. I was worried I'd have to fight with them again. Just had to do that at Thanksgiving, & it was no fun.
