Ok friend Porchers. For those of you that pray, please pray for my friend Michelle. She's in ICU and isn't doing well. God answers prayers. I know this! She's only 36 years old but has some sort of infection in her body they cannot find. Within 3 days, she has deteriorated and is now on a ventilator. Her parents are now driving here from Amarillo, a 7 hour drive. So please pray for their safe trip, and for her.
Not a problem, I have You, Michelle and her parents on my prayer list. Prayers have gone out and will be continued as long as necessary. Keep us all informed, my friend.

Highlight the text you want to strike through. Then click the "insert" icon in the toolbar at the top, and select "strike-through". The "insert" icon is immediately to the left of the camera icon.
Great to know, I will have to give that a try! Uh, never mind, did it!

I know! Makes me wonder what else he did that she covered over for him. And where was his dad that footed the bills?

Come to think of it, I have never heard anything about the dad.

Well, it's OFFICIAL!! My opposite took the job at the other base, and will not be coming here to work another hitch. I received the phone call on Monday. :rickroll:

Boss man offered me overtime, which I will take, which will go towards the procedure for my bulging disc. I'm going to go home for three days and then come back here. I hope they don't intend to kill me before they get a replacement. On the other hand, I have the place running well enough to where I shouldn't have to strain.
I just wish I could bring my fur babies with me. Then I'd work all the overtime they want.

Surprised I got that close I was 14 last time I went there LMAO. Kinda ruined me for fried chicken though. NOTHING has ever come close.

Hey do you know anything about this squonker? Steam Crave Squonk MOD Bundle Sale(Only for USA and Canada),Steam Crave Squonker

I cant afford an LP REO but this I might be able to swing

Never seen anything on that one. Since it's regulated and tc I wouldn't have paid much attention to it. I like the less to break cheap to fix stuff. A Reo may be more in up front cost but it won't be a paperweight in a couple of years when the electronics fail.

Roto that is great news. :) I'm betting you will find it much smoother since you won't spend the first couple of days back cleaning up after that youngin.

.... moved my heavy couch and all the other furniture exactly where I wanted it placed! Even went so far as to help me place the individual slate tiles in both the coffee table and lamp table, after he moved them where I wanted them.

Guess they wanna keep me as a customer after all:D
Yes, they do!

I couldn't resist. I have one on the way. But, coming from China, it might be a while. You might try asking here.

Normally I would agree. But $70 versus $180 + atty cost keeps me relooking at the thing LOL.

Well, got me an interview yomorrow

Last stinkie 10/15/2013
So hoping your interview goes well today! Good vibes to you! :)

Me too... l like keyboard shortcuts.

PrtScrn copies the whole desktop to the clipboard
Alt + PrtScrn copies only the current window to the clipboard
"Window key" + R opens the "Run" dialog box
Ctrl + A highlights all text in a text box or document, or whole webpage
Ctrl + C copies all highlighted text to the clipboard
Ctrl + T "cuts" highlighted text and copies to clipboard
and many more.

Often a lot better than reaching for the mouse!
Normally, I use a mouse, and a few select keyboard shortcuts, but I may just use more of them now. Thank you!

So...the cable techs were here AGAIN yesterday because of the usual issues, tv and so on, which has been going on for three months with many techs, two "new" cable modems, a couple " new" remotes, so on and so forth.
I guess threatening to dump them in favor of satellite finally worked. Their app. was between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m., they ( a tech AND a supervisor) were here at 8:15.

To make a long story short, they replaced the underground line, ran two separate cable lines into my home, replaced the modem and the remote, set up all the components, including the printer and the router, and then checked all of them, including the phone.

The one tech left but the supervisor stayed, and believe this or not.... moved my heavy couch and all the other furniture exactly where I wanted it placed! Even went so far as to help me place the individual slate tiles in both the coffee table and lamp table, after he moved them where I wanted them.

Ah, Kay, I know how frustrated you were and now you can surf in relative ease and watch TV and do all those other web-related fun things the way you're supposed to.

Oh dear, on my prayer list, and please, keep us updated!

Never heard of it either, but I'm with Amy. I know you might need to save up for a REO, but honestly it'll be far better than that in the long run. You can always call or PM him to see if he has any blemished ones that aren't on the site, and you'd be hard pressed to find the blemish. they are less, and he did and probably still does have some value REOs, I think they were about 130.00 and I'm bettin that I could help ya out with an atty. If I don't have what you like, someone probably would. Would you rather have a grand or a mini??

{{{{Sushi!}}}} Where have you been hiding, Missy?

Hi!!! I've been around...just lurking. Had a rough time over the holidays. The job I was in was a really bad environment...working with people with no work ethic and married people with small children having an affair with each other...nope, not an environment I want to spend 8-10 hours a day in. I agonized over it, I don't bounce around from job to job. Another job opportunity came up so I took it. I'm working with a lady from church who started her own bookkeeping business in her garage 20 years ago. She's grown the business so much that her husband built offices adjacent to the house. Now I have my own office in a very pleasant environment and have weekends off (which allows me to continue to drive the limo and do wine tours). We've been crazy busy getting 2015 books done, W-2's, 1099's, quarterly taxes...I put in 65 hours last week and loved every minute of it! Thanks for asking!!!

My favorite shortcut is the "Window Key" + M. It minimizes all windows. Very sneaky!

Oh that's wonderful sweetie!!! So happy for you!! that is much like "mama's" aunt, she has the same type of set up doing the same stuff. One of mama's daughters went to work for her a few years ago, and loves it!

Russell...........how did you interview go??

Nice to hear your work world has changed for the better. Nothing worse than having to go to a 'toxic' environment each day for work.

Great to know, I will have to give that a try! Uh, never mind, did it!

Come to think of it, I have never heard anything about the dad.

I think I heard that the parents were divorced and the mother ran through the money she'd gotten from the sale of their house. There was one mention that I heard that the father was in jail for some financial illegalities? Talk about dysfunctional.
