For those that are interested, the interview went ok, but he had no openings, he is going to send my info to another store that does.

That is pretty good. He wouldn't forward your info if he didn't think you'd be good there!

Legs, di you not get a tracking # when it's mailed?
Yeah they sent it first class and it left Hazelwood MO on 1-26 then nothing. The PO doesn't consider it lost till 30days and Express Scripts will only authorize 7 days at a time because it is a Schedule 2. I got some dummy there yesterday that said well you know they had some bad weather on the East Coast why would it go to the East coast going from Mo to Wa. I am receiving my sleeve for my ML today which I ordered on Monday from Florida and it is also going 1st class.

Hazelwood, MO .. now that explains it .. ;) .. known for Tony's Donuts, however, USPS does not have a very high Yelp Rating .. ;) ..

is that a smart phone app, or can you set it at the usps website to notify you so you can check your email with a computer the same way?
You can get sms, or email notifications. Just go to the USPS website, enter your tracking #, & the package info will come up. Look to the right of that block of info & you'll see the notification options. You'll get an email with a few seconds showing that they are tracking it for you & what the last scanned status was. After that you'll be notified everytime it's scanned. It should not stop moving unless it's in a truck enroute, & that can take maybe 5 days to update. My stuff from the west coast & from FL or NC will show it left there & then nothing for about 5 days. Then suddenly it's in N Houston & I should have it here by the next day. I give it 7 days no matter what & then I go back to the last notification d look for the link for Help. They'll send you a website link to use, & an 800# you can call. I always call. It's one of those voice menu things you talk to. As soon as it gives me a chance I just say customer service & keep saying that. The system recognizes those words & will get you to customer service & you can report a lost package. Just give them your tracking # & they'll start looking for it. If it really is lost it does take 30 days before the insurance will pay. I haven't had one a tually lost yet. All mine just got left off the last scan, or truck & shows up within 24 hours. I've done it about 4 or 5 times over the last year & a half.

did Semi leave without sayin g'bye to us? He wouldn't do that.

PSA ... Although the Old Brain Cells are not what they used to be, I'm pretty sure @Semiretired / Phil mentioned in a HO discussion in early January they would be leaving for the Philippines around mid-January ..
Spock says: If Phil would not leave without saying goodbye, then Phil did not leave without saying goodbye. Therefore, the question is invalid.

I can't wait for my leg to get better. All this pain to save 10seconds. Sheesh.
You said it will be a year before you do something like that again. Here's hoping you extend the time period!

USPS website. I get notices for any and all trackable mail, without any need for me or the sender to enter any tracking numbers. The USPS database recognizes my address and automatically sends notifications to me by email. David Ock sent me an envelope with a tracking number but didn't tell me what the tracking number was. He then found out that I knew the delivery status of the envelope even without him requesting that I be notified.

Call that Help # Legs. The 30 days is just how long they have to get it to you before they have to pay the insurance. Go ahead & make them look for it. They don't know it's missing until you report it.

So, these were actually in fashion? I just thought I had to wear them because I was in Catholic school, to go along with my uniform.
After Xmas, USPS has been a disaster. Had an order (actually more than one) shown as picked up on Jan. 4 by tracking. Week later... picked up on Jan 4. Few days later, delivered. Just checked tracking today (no clue why). Shows... picked up on Jan 4.
And yeah, I almost always set it to send me notices on progress. Got... none.
I've had 2 packages from China that tracking said were 'Processed through sort facility' in Los Angeles, that now say 'Origin post preparing shipment' in CHINA! I have another one with the same Los Angeles tracking. I hope it doesn't end up doing the same thing.

Slow is one thing. This is another.

Saddle shoes?

All I know is I seem to remember them being all the rage for females for a time in the 1950's, early 1960's ..
They were called saddle oxfords.....and I only know, because just like Teresa.....I had to wear them with a uniform for a Catholic girls school......and that's the only time I had those clunky things on...;)

Just a little side note....these were what the bobby soxers who swooned and screamed over Frank Sinatra wore...;)

As a Fellow Alumni of Good Old Catholic School, I suppose that must be why I thought they were all the rage .. ;)

These saddles were obligatory garb at the Catholic Girls Academy, so when that era of my life was over, so were the saddles.

Sometimes they do that to get an applicant a better chance of getting the job. More relaxed the second time around. Although the questions, with the feedback from the first interview, may get more specific to you.
