Well, that's sorta good news. At least it wasn't a no. You never know what might happen. My sister interviewed for a job once and the woman finally looked at her and said that the position was already filled from within, but she'd be perfect for another position that was going to open up in 2 weeks. Yep, she got that job and retired from it years later. You never know. Meanwhile keep your eyes open and be ready for change.
That sounds funny, but maybe he was doing the screening for the other stores?

Willie, the day of the crash I was only 9 years old, but their music is timeless. So sad that we've missed out on what they might have created if their lives hadn't been cut short.

As a public school elementary student, we could only wear dresses and skirts. On cold days, we wore pants under them, and took them off when we got to school

Unfortunately I've got a couple of ulcers that say I shouldn't take ibuprofen and I'm on aspirin therapy so aspirin is also out of the question. Oh well, what's a mother to do?
Notice I said shouldn't, I still do but try not to take it too often.
I used to have awful sinus headaches all the time. I started taking Vitamin C and immediately saw a difference. I was told that Vit C helps keep mucus liquid so the sinus drain like they're supposed to. Worked for me anyway, but YMMV.
I told one of my neighbors about Vit C when they already had a terrible head cold, he took it and said his nose ran like crazy, but it helped his head. The thing is that Vit. C builds up in your blood like sugar does so it builds and drops so you have to take it a couple times during the day.
I went to public schools. Had the. Saddle oxfords, penny loafers, Converse, Keds. I think the only thing I missed was go-go boots & I made ip for that in my 20's with a pair of above the knee 4" stiletto boots.Here is a link to the USPS Track and Confirm web page. Are you sure your ISP isn't throttling you, or being throttled themselves? I have Century Link, and we get throttled by Verizon. Why? Because to reach the Level 3 internet backbone in this area, the Century Link traffic has to go through a Verizon network. Now, because Verizon hates everyone, including their customers and other peoples customers, they decide "screw them, slow them down because we want more money".So...the cable techs were here AGAIN yesterday because of the usual issues, tv and so on, which has been going on for three months with many techs, two "new" cable modems, a couple " new" remotes, so on and so forth.
I guess threatening to dump them in favor of satellite finally worked. Their app. was between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m., they ( a tech AND a supervisor) were here at 8:15.
To make a long story short, they replaced the underground line, ran two separate cable lines into my home, replaced the modem and the remote, set up all the components, including the printer and the router, and then checked all of them, including the phone.
The one tech left but the supervisor stayed, and believe this or not.... moved my heavy couch and all the other furniture exactly where I wanted it placed! Even went so far as to help me place the individual slate tiles in both the coffee table and lamp table, after he moved them where I wanted them.
Guess they wanna keep me as a customer after all
I tried making FCC complaints, but the FCC just relays those to the ISP, who sent a technician out to check our hardware, and told me about the Verizon issue. Apparently Century Link is running their own fiber optic line to Level 3 (the internet backbone company. The ISP for ISP's like Comcast or Verizon), but they hit some kind of snag with federal land, even though they had all the state permits to run the line.
Just an FYI, I'm an IT Networking Student. Specifically Networking Security, but that's more along the lines of how Networking works, and what to turn on and off.
Side note: I made a second FCC complaint, telling the FCC what Century Link told me off the record about two weeks ago. Yesterday my mom called them saying she had to cancel the service because we could no longer afford it due to her illness (stage 4 pancreatic and liver cancer. Already metastatic). They cut the price in half for 12 months, with no reduction in speeds.
Damned nice of them, since I still need the internet to finish my last semester of ECPI, as well as job hunt.

Just do the 800 help # & keep asking for customer service, Legs. They'll find it & get it on it's way.

Me, too. I think my last 2 years we could wear pants suits, or blouse/sweater & slacks. Before that it was all dresses or skirts. Boys had to have collars & hair cuts above the collar d no facial hair. No jeans or tshirts. No bare legs. No shorts or capri's of any length. Skirts no more than 3" above the knee. But we could wear sandals & bare legs the last couple of years.
