Meet Me in St Louie Louie
I do believe to this day that one can lift one's mood a tad by wearing glasses with red lenses.

Except for those of us who are "spethul"... And the color red actually causes irrational anger, loss of focus and loss of coherence.

Red as a designation of loyalty and affiliation afflicts a good portion of the Populace at Large, who lift their mood thru irrational anger, loss of focus and loss of coherence .. ;)

Don't scare me like that! If you'd still been with me after I trashed Huckabee (who I regard as cuckoo) I would have been really worried.
hehehe gotta keep ya on yur toes yanno!!!

Normal for me would be very abnormal for others.
Jup same here.

yep. Just don't have any batteries in your checked baggage. if you put your mods all in a mod case of some sort (makeup bag with full zipper works), and all your eliquid bottles are labeled you should have no issues.
Except for finding those of us from the porch that will be there :D

heh - a bar dog maybe... if his wife lets him out to bars...
but here is a reminder of what you quoted:

oh my oh my how could I forget him!! Sam Elliott <swoon>

This was filmed by ABC in the town where I grew up, went to school, and where my Dad lived for 55 years and worked for 60 years:
Was nice to see that many folks helped her regardless of how she was dressed.

Considering I’m so damn proud of my kids I could bust, I’m considering bragging on them some, and maybe even posting a pic or two… later.
I can understand being leary of pics......but do what you feel comfy with, and certainly do some braggin! That was such a wonderful story of meeting your wife, and they photog flying.....thanks for posting that!

Kay there are a few townhouses for sale right around the corner from where we will be living. I think I would really like having you as a neighbor.
Back off Sparky!!! If she comes south....I've had dibs for awhile on her moving to Texas!!

Oh and no Norovirus for me I just had a real bad sore throat. It's alot better today.
so glad it is not noro and that you're feeling better.

Nice Sunny day , which was filled with a Festival with Pork more ways than I could count let alone eat.:) Thank goodness I walked around. Now catching up with a Smooth Jazzy evening of sports & the last of my Texas Tea e Liquid in a Aspire Nautilus
oh that sounds so wonderful on all counts! Love me some pig, and some jazz.

Also nuts about SRV and Mike......love me some bluegrass!!

I ate too much today, and feel as though I'm going to roll into bed......but it's sooooooo early!

Hi folks!
good to see ya, don't really get to talk to ya much since I'm on a totally night schedule. Miss ya!

for anyone interested, History of the Eagles, parts 1 and 2...started at 8:00 P.M. EST on CNN
so sorry I missed this, hope they'll reshow it. I did a search for it, but nothin is coming up now.

Without going into a boatload of details, the bottom line at the moment is that I will not be leaving my base right now. Even more joyous news for me..........my lazy little nemesis applied for an opening at another base, and he WILL be leaving!!! God does NOT sleep.
Wahoooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!! so happy your job is safe for now!! And we'll all be dancin with ya when that lazy worm is gone!!!

but I 'm going to meet up with a few old military buddies that I haven't seen in some years in Tampa. We've all quit the stinkys and Vape. But next time for sure
awwwww was hopin you'd come to the odyssey! But I can totally understand wanting to see your military buddies! Hey since you'll be in Tampa, stay with one of em there til April 16th then come to the odyssey!!

Sometimes i wonder where my genes come from.
A lot of us have wondered that!! Glad what's left of my mom's side of the family lives over 1,000 miles away!

Damned woman, got me hooked on Downton Abbey and we watched all 5 seasons now they want $15 to see the 6th and final one. EERRRGGHH
What are you watching it on? Love downton, hate that this is the last season. Already some great things have happened.

If you like that, check out Outlander. The womenfolk should enjoy it as well. The intro should say all that needs to be said.
Welcome to the porch!!! that looks interesting, but I don't have starz.

Hey all, haven't been around in a while. Just wanted to say hi....
hiya hun!! Good to see ya here!! Lotsa reonauts have become porchers. The reo lounge pretty much died, usually there is at least one post in a day, sometimes more.

Don't know who it was, but not me. I've never had readywick before. Maybe Mike?
Mighta been Torey, I know she had some.

Takes me back. NTSU, mid 70s. I had no idea until I arrived there that they were the number 2 music school in the country. The number one public music school in the country. Underlying all the various kinds of music swirling around, there was always jazz.
Just curious... what was the number one music school?

I realize you were just making a comical observation but don't know if you realize that red can affect some people in the opposite way that you describe, sort of like how Ritalin worked to calm and focus people who had ADD, but could discombobulate those who did not have ADD. By the way, I sent you a PM a number of weeks back and never got a response.

Wow! A desk with two coffee cups. You must be ambidextrous, or something.

You mean this?... that's my e-cig holder - a 2" PVC coupler with a flat cap insert...
e-cig = Subtank Mini v2 base w/ RBA coil head, 0.5Ω coil, clear bell cap from sweet-vapes, on a copper SMPL, Sony 18650.

Promise I'll get off this selfie bug - after the 'new' wears off ;)

Red , according to the psychology of color has always been a color associated with excitement. It's why you see so much of its use in advertising and product packaging. It over rides control, grabs peoples attention and gets them to buy what they may not have otherwise noticed...Because of that excitement quality and the ability to bring on loss of control, it's used extensively inside of casinos...;)

Pink, on the other hand....was found to be calming, and was used in some of the casinos in the holding room that security used to place people in while waiting for the police to come and arrest them.

The reference to seeing the world through red lenses should have been rose colored glasses, and that is not referring to a red rose, but a shade that is actually in the pink family. ...;)

Red seems to be a popular color for necks as well.

Me too!

Absolutely! I don't understand why people would want to go to a crowded uncomfortable theatre where you miss part of the movie if you take a potty break.

OK. I guess I do understand. Big screen and the excitement of the crowd. Just not for me.

It's amazing how the colors change depending on the music you're listening to!

You made me look.

Welcome to the porches! Looking up Outlander now.

Sure you are. ;)

It's available on Netflix, but only for the DVD thing. You can also see it through Amazon Prime with a Starz subscription. If you already have Prime, you might be able to get a Starz Subscription free trial thingy.

Well leave it to me. I pulled a really stupid move last night. I was going to walk to the other side of the bed and I had one of my suspension sleeves rolled down but figured since these legs were tight no sweat. I went to take a step and my leg came off and down I went landing on the end of the bone in my stump. Now I can barely get around. Think I am going to have to use my crutches. I don't think I broke it but the bone feels like a knife blade pushing against the end of my stump. This sucks all because I was too lazy to pull up the sleeve. You can't believe how stupid I feel. Now I'll probably have two weeks of pain because I wanted to save 30 seconds. This sucks.
